  My experience at Safelite AutoGlass in Killeen, TX, was extremely disappointing. From the lack of communication to the billing issues, the entire experience fell well below my expectations. My assigned technician, Kevin, failed to provide updates regarding the status of my vehicle or explain what was happening throughout the service. Meanwhile, I watched several other technicians come out and communicate with their customers. My car still has a notification with a malfunction with the windshield wipers, That I will have to address again at another location. Unfortunately, I was left waiting without the same courtesy or consideration. I brought my concerns to the manager's attention, but rather than addressing the lack of communication, he explained that he was new to the location and was working on getting things organized and cleaned up. While I understand that management transitions can be challenging, that should not come at the expense of basic customer service. To make matters worse, I was charged twice for a service that had already been paid through my insurance. I did make sure to confirm that the funds were returned. This added unnecessary frustration to an already disappointing experience. Customers deserve clear communication, professionalism, accountability, and accurate billing. Unfortunately, I experienced none of those consistently during my visit. I will never return to this Safelite location and would not recommend it to anyone expecting professional, attentive, and reliable service.

  Timothy was professional, informative, and expedient in completing the replacement. Recalibrated my camera and transferred all windshield stickers to the new windshield, although initially he thought the car wash sticker would not transfer as easily as the TX tag and my inspection sticker.

  Safelite was very quick in repairing my windshield. They kept me well informed from beginning to end. I will use them everytime I need a windshield repair.

  Service went downhill very quickly. In our last visit, after a 2 hour drive, they ended up rescheduling us because they didn’t check that the replacement part was broken. So we get rescheduled, and on the day of the new appointment I call them to ask if the new part looks fine, and after having to check like 3 times the guy finally confirmed the piece was there but they forgot to order an additional part, and they didn’t know when they’d get it. - They didn’t call me to let me know, if I hadn’t called they would’ve just rescheduled me again in the spot even though I had told them I live 2 hours away! I do not recommend this shop unless you want to deal with very unprofessional staff with severe accountability issues.

  My experience with getting my windshield replaced was a little bumpy at first. My first technician was a no show, and when I got him again after having the appointment rescheduled, he called out sick. My husband and I didn’t have the best experience with the customer support either, but that’s here nor there. Call it unfortunate timing or whatever else (I understand things happen), I was just happy that something was able to work out because I was tired of having a huge crack to look through while driving! The technician who did my replacement was Josue, and I really appreciated him being able to add my replacement to his queue. He had great communication, and did good work with a time constraint. It wasn’t an ideal situation for either of us, but he made it work and had a great attitude about the whole thing. For that I am appreciative, and recommend his service.
