My sales experience was great, Tony did an excellent job and if this was just Tony it would be 5 stars.
The financing was completely different. I did financing through Nissan. I repeatedly tried to get into my online account per the dealerships instructions unsuccessfully, and was told it takes awhile to get the account setup. I was told this 8 days AFTER the postmark on a letter indicating the credit application was denied (our credit is too good - 800's - we pay everything off). That letter arrived 18 days after it was post marked. I emailed Schottenkirk about this and was told a different bank through which the loan was done. The only reason I found out this was I bugged them ... I heard nothing from the dealership, Nissan, or that bank. The Nissan portal to which I was directed never did work. It is a great system to lull owners into racking up finance charges.

Caden, Tracey and Jason are awesome. I would by another car from Shottenkirk Nissan in a heartbeat. The customer service is just awesome. They were very professional and listen to what I want I was looking for. There was never a second of an aggressive sales pitch. Tracey you are the best and I will definitely give you a 10. Caden and Jason thank you for all that you did during this buying process you made this non stressful. I will definitely tell my family and friends about this dealership. It was so seamless and transparent. They laid out the out of price and fees. Thanks again for making this pressure free and straight forward.

I purchased a brand-new Nissan from Shottenkirk Nissan about 8 months ago, and unfortunately, I have been very disappointed with both the vehicle and the dealership’s service.
During my first scheduled maintenance, I reported that the car was pulling to the right. I was told everything was checked and no problem was found. The issue continued, so I brought it back again. Once again, I was told it had been fixed, but the vehicle still pulls to the right.
Another issue is the driver’s seat, which rocks and moves while driving. When I reported it, I was told this is “normal” for Nissan seats. I do not believe a loose driver’s seat should be considered normal in a brand-new vehicle.
At my 22,000-mile service, I was charged $84 for what was essentially just an oil change. No filters were replaced, no additional maintenance was performed, and even the engine coolant level—which was below the minimum mark—was not checked or topped off.
Friends of mine who own new Toyota and Hyundai vehicles receive complimentary maintenance, including tire rotation, filter replacements when needed, and thorough inspections. My experience with Shottenkirk Nissan has been the complete opposite.
I expected much better quality and customer service from Nissan. Unfortunately, this has been one of the most disappointing new-car ownership experiences I’ve had. I hope this review encourages the dealership and Nissan to improve their customer service and take customer concerns more seriously.
Avoid this dealership at all costs!!!
I brought my Nissan in for minor A/C and windshield issues and left with a vehicle that was unsafe to drive.
First, they charged $180 per diagnostic, only to provide vague, useless one sentence with no meaningful explanation of the actual problems.
They also failed to complete an open recall repair until I specifically reminded them to do it.
The real nightmare started after I left. While driving on the highway, my car began making a loud tapping noise and shaking violently. I pulled over and discovered that several lug nuts were missing from one of the wheels. Missing. Not loose, missing!!!! The wheel was unstable and could have come off while I was traveling at highway speeds.
There is absolutely no excuse for a vehicle leaving a dealership in that condition. A mistake like this could have caused a catastrophic accident, serious injuries, or worse. I am still trying to understand why the wheels were removed in the first place for an A/C repair, but regardless of the reason, returning a car to a customer with missing lug nuts is beyond careless.
This dealership charged premium prices and delivered dangerously substandard work. If they cannot handle basic safety checks, I would not trust them with any repair, no matter how small.
Buyer beware! I have never been in a position where a dealership wouldn’t accept 80% of car cost as a down payment AFTER running the numbers and running your credit report! Mind you, I walked in with the info how much I would put down and that my credit history is great! The salesman Malik was great, the financial department is something so much more to be desired! And mostly probably the actual ownership company of Shottenkirk network! They will not sell you a used car without their care packages, that’s how they make their money. This was a terrible experience for me personally! I will never buy from them again nor would i recommend anyone to go through the experience I went through unless you don’t care about the numbers out the door! In this economy - very bad sales tactics! I did buy the car since I had a hard inquiry on my credit report now but I will be paying off my purchase much much sooner than the term of the loan. I would not recommend Shottenkirk network.
