I bought my vehicle in August and waited to do a review to see how they performed after the car buying experience, and I'm going to tell you it is not great.
First off, I still have not received my registration tag. I have repeatedly called and left messages with the department that handles this, and have not been called back or had my registration tag delivered. I've been up there once and they could not find it. At this point, I'm just going to wait until I need to register my truck in August.
Secondly, do not buy any warranty these people offer you. I paid almost $3,000 for a warranty that's virtually useless. I was told in detail with my sister sitting next to me in an office that my car was covered bumper to bumper except the tires. When it came time for me to put my vehicle in the shop for them to honor that warranty, they turned me away stating that they do not have a Toyota dealership and cannot (or wouldn't) work on it. I spent 6 months trying to get them to look at my vehicle. Now that I took it to another Toyota dealership, I'm finding out that the paperwork on my warranty and what I actually purchased do not match up and it does not cover anything. I'm out $500 in diagnostic fees at a different dealership and of course these people in accounting and warranty department do not answer their phones nor do they return calls.
I was afraid of the stereotypical sleazy car buying experience, and I got it at Clay Cooley. Please don't go here. You'll end up spending more on the vehicle than you intended to and now have to get legal representation.
I also did not appreciate they did not look over my vehicle for issues that were upon closer inspection highly visible. My tow light attachment was connected by medical tape. Really easy to spot if they had done any inspection to the vehicle.

It’s unfortunate, but Clay Cooley has been making some rather disappointing noise across the DFW Metroplex. Hearing about how Jacob (Jake) operates as a communicator is something someone wouldn’t expect from the Clay Cooley Name. Customer service being unprofessional, communication being poor, and the subpar effort made no difference to actually help resolve my brother’s concerns. Being ignored and just tossed to the side rather than valued as a customer is something you wouldn’t expect within a Clay Cooley Dealership Experience. Dealing with a vehicle is a huge milestone and it’s is so important to maintain it properly, but it seems that moments like that don’t matter here because apparently servicing vehicles is too much of a hassle…even though it’s within the job description.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Jacob (“Jake”) after purchasing my vehicle. The customer service completely changed once the sale was finalized. Communication became poor, questions were ignored, and any concerns I had felt like an inconvenience rather than something they were willing to help resolve.
As a customer making a major purchase, I expected professionalism, honesty, and support after the sale. Instead, I was met with a lack of accountability and very poor follow-up. It honestly felt like once the paperwork was signed, customer satisfaction no longer mattered.
I would not recommend working with Jake based on my experience. Customer service after a vehicle purchase is just as important as the sale itself, and this experience fell far below expectations.

As a woman, this was hands down one of the best and most comfortable car buying experiences I’ve ever had. You always hear horror stories about dealerships, feeling pressured, talked down to, or not being taken seriously, and I was honestly expecting some of that. But from the moment I walked in, that couldn’t have been further from the truth. Brandon was amazing. He treated me with respect right away, took the time to listen, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. There was zero pressure, just genuine help and guidance.
Lance, the manager, was just as impressive. He was kind, professional, and very transparent. You can tell he cares about how customers are treated, and it shows in how smoothly everything went. And Jeff, the GM, thank you for coming by and checking on me. When we got to finance, they made what is usually the most stressful part feel easy. He walked me through everything, answered all my questions without rushing me, and made sure I understood my options without pushing anything unnecessary. The biggest thing for me was how comfortable and respected I felt the entire time. That doesn’t always happen, and it meant a lot. I never once felt pressured or overlooked, just genuinely taken care of. If you’re a woman and hesitant about going into a dealership because of past experiences or things you’ve heard, I can honestly say they will take great care of you. Brandon and Lance, Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This was hands down one of the best dealership experiences I’ve ever had.... I’ve bought a lot of cars over the years, and I don’t say this lightly, this was one of the best dealership experiences from not just one person but the entire team. From the moment I walked in, Edward took care of me the right way. No pressure, no games, just straight up helpful and focused on what I actually wanted. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers, and that’s rare. His manager, Lance Allred, is on another level. Easily one of the best managers I’ve ever worked with. He was involved, transparent, and made the whole process feel smooth and easy. Sat down and actually talked to me and didn't just try and sell. And Jeff, the GM, you can feel his leadership through the entire store. The culture there is different, in a good way. Then I got to finance with Lovo, and that sealed it. Super easy to work with, took the time to walk through everything, explained options without pushing anything I didn’t need. No pressure, no nonsense, just a solid, honest experience. I honestly felt like family the entire time. Not the fake “we care” you sometimes get, but the real deal. These guys actually care about doing things right. I know people read reviews and assume half of them are AI or overhyped, but this one is real. I stand behind it 100%.
To the owners, if you see this, you’ve got something special at this store. The leadership, the sales team, and the finance group are all aligned and it shows. They didn’t just sell me a car, they earned a customer for life.
