  I'm giving 2 stars because I have had good experiences with their oil change services and a few other services such as coolant flush. However, I recently came in for a freon recharge for my AC system on my 2003 Lincoln Town car with only 60k miles on it. Everything was fine until shortly after my car started making a horrendous metallic grinding/vibrating noise when engaging the AC. I called customer service and they gave me a refund which was courteous so I give them credit for that. Also the staff members were generally helpful except for the store manager Chris. He was condescending, rude, and passive aggressive. I was repeatedly pointed in the wrong direction and was told the noise were unrelated things such as my serpentine belt or belt tensioner. Chris said I did not "deserve a refund" because my ac was still blowing air. Not taking into account that the system was severely strained due to the service they performed. I was also made to feel like it was my "cars fault" since it is a 2003, mind you kept in excellent condition. I ended up taking it to a mechanic across the streets (McKay's automotive) that confirmed that that they undercharged my AC freon and the system was not lubricating/circulating properly. I had to take it to Valvoline 2-3 times and they refused to acknowledge or take accountability for what they did. I had 0 problems with the AC for 2 years straight and it just so happens it starts breaking down as soon as I take it in. They also put me in touch with the Area manager who recommended a "neutral" mechanic I could take it to to verify if the issue was caused by them. Like I said, I ended up taking it to my own mechanic and had to pay again to get the vehicle serviced a second to. Luckily they were able to assist me and confirm the issue. The manager Chris really thought getting passive aggressive with me and trying to intimidate me would stop me from trying to resolve my issue with Valvoline. Highly unprofessional for a store manager . I do want to give a shout out to Jack and Omar though for being polite, courteous, and willing to help. Maybe one of them should be promoted to manager instead.

  I’m really frustrated. I called at 3:45 pm to plan ahead since I’d be done at Discount Tire around 4:45. The woman told me they only take walk-ins and that I had until 6 pm to come in for a state inspection, because they close at 7. I drove all the way over there, only for a man to tell me the inspector had already left for the day. What a waste of time!

  Tyler was super helpful and made my oil change go easy and quick. I will always get my oil changed here. The employees are very professional and informative.
