  The service is excellent! I drove my truck from Beaumont to Houston, Clay answered all my questions about my truck and allowed me to leave it in their garage on Saturday! Their service is fast and efficient , they were able to fix my truck even when other places told me that my truck’s needed a new motor. Clay communicated with me with honesty and professionalism.

  I was concerned about the reading on my oil pressure gauge, so I dropped my truck off to Texon Motor Center to see if there was a problem. When I called to check on my vehicle, Clay informed me that the engine needed replacing. Clay then informed me that, his mechanics found oil around the valve cover gaskets. I told him my oil cooling line came lose and oil got into the engine compartment. He then goes on to say due to the vehicle’s age (2013), it was time for a new motor. I explained that I had the engine replaced 3 1/2 years ago. He stated that it's just not building up pressure and I should replace it. Because of the amount I told Clay I would get back with him. I received an email later with an estimate of $5,700 to replace the motor and $125 diagnostic charge. Clay called me back the following morning and said my vehicle was ready for pickup and that the cost would be $280. I explained to Clay that I had received an email from him stating that the motor replacement would be $5700, plus a $125 diagnostic fee. I was comfortable with this arrangement and I didn't approve of any additional work. Clay then said "you can come pick it now for free! Just don't bring it back here!" Then hung up abruptly. I found this behavior very unprofessional. I’m not sure if he was upset that I didn’t allow him to replace the engine, but I was simply waiting a few weeks to get the money together because the truck was drivable. Texon Motor will never get my business and anyone that I hear mention that shop I will definitely share my experience. I can't believe you responded with a lie! You were on speaker when you said that and I wasn't alone. That truck has been there once! We don't all look alike✌🏾

  Love the Texon Motor Experience! They rebuilt my engine for me along with the installation labor. I had been recommended to them by family with a past positive experience. Clay gave me an estimate, I paid a deposit to start work. He called me a week later with a few parts that needed replacement from his perspective, and I picked up the vehicle the following week. Clay and he team even helped me diagnose a coolant leak 2 days after I picked up the vehicle coming from a small leak in my radiator. Can't say enough about Texon Motor I would use them again for sure!!
