  So impressed with my experience today at Texas German Autohaus. My x5 was showing a passenger airbag error alert and when I took it to bmw service center, they diagnosed a big issue with a big bill which I rejected. I took the car in today to TGA for a second opinion and the person (Michael) who was so amazing as he looked at it and ran diagnostic in front of me. He made a few seat adjustments and was able to fix it. Guess what - he refused to take money for it. Such service is so rare and I was so appreciative. On the other hand; it really made me question BMW official service business but that’s a different story. Thanks!

  Great service experience for a brake fluid flush and servicing reminder reset! Car was returned as promised and washed! Definitely recommend and will be back!

  Great alignment work—the technology used is very advanced, and the results are way better than Discount Tire. Keep in mind, though, that it costs quite a bit more (more than double). My complaint is that they didn't inform me when my car was ready to pick up, which caused me to run into terrible traffic. Better communication on pick-up times would be much appreciated!

  I have never written a review in my life. It is simply not something I normally do. But for those of you who own, care for, and understand German or Bavarian-derived cars, I felt this was worth saying: there is no better place to take your vehicle for repair, service, or honest help than Texas German Auto Haus. I have owned Mercedes G-Wagens for 22 years, and I have been going to Texas German Auto Haus for roughly 15 of those years. What defines this shop is capability and honesty — the two most important qualities you can ask for when trusting someone with your vehicle. Regarding capability, the owner, Michael, is simply one of the best and most knowledgeable mechanics you will find. He has the mind of an engineer. He understands these vehicles at a level that goes far beyond simply replacing parts. He speaks the language the cars were built in, both literally and mechanically, and because of that, he sees things that others often miss. On my G-Wagen, Michael has saved me from wasting money several times by correctly diagnosing the issue rather than chasing unnecessary repairs. He was born and raised in Germany and has been working on Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, and BMW vehicles since he was a young man. This is what a true master mechanic is. Michael embodies that. In Germany, the word “master” means something different — and when it comes to your vehicle, that matters. The shop itself is successful for a reason: fair prices, honest advice, and real expertise. There was one time when I thought my catalytic converter needed to be replaced. They put the car on the lift, looked it over, and showed me that it was simply rubbing against a piece of metal underneath. They gently created some space with a pry bar, solved the problem, and sent me on my way — no charge. That could have easily become a very expensive repair somewhere else. At Texas German Auto Haus, I was simply told the truth. That kind of honesty is not uncommon here. You will be told what is actually wrong, charged a fair price, and receive your car back better than when you left it. If you stop by the shop, you will see everything from exotics to daily drivers, older German cars to brand-new current models. Many of these owners choose Texas German Auto Haus over the dealer, and for good reason. Whatever it is, if it is German or Bavarian, these guys have you covered. It is also a real team. They have many service bays, several highly trained technicians, and Matt, who keeps the daily operations running smoothly and professionally. The people there have been with the shop for a long time, and that matters. It says something about the culture, the quality, and the way they do business. Texas German Auto Haus is capable, honest, fair, and deeply knowledgeable. For German car owners, especially those who care about their vehicles, this is exactly the kind of shop you hope to find.
