From the moment I arrived to pick up the car, the process was poor. They were relentless in trying to upsell me on various add-ons despite my clear lack of interest. The situation worsened significantly upon returning the vehicle. When asked how the car was, I honestly mentioned that the tire pressure light had come on during my trip. Instead of a professional response, the staff member, Jasmine, became incredibly rude and argumentative. She immediately informed me that they would be holding my deposit pending a review and threatened me with additional charges for the tire, despite the light not even being on when I returned the car. This is a classic bait-and-switch: lure you in with a low advertised price, then manufacture reasons to charge you more during the return process. Between the aggressive upselling and the hostile customer service, I cannot recommend Sixt. Save yourself the headache and choose a more reliable rental provider.
