    I thought the commercials were just advertising great customer service and assurance! But Gabriel set the standard for customer service . He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with educating me on the issue with my vehicle. Such a hard thing to find these days ! Thanks Gabriel and Safelite

    During the past few months, I've had my windshield and the driver's side window replaced. I've used the in-store service which was fast and very good. Both windows operate just as they did before they were replaced. Safelite coordinated with my insurance on the windshield. The cost of the side window was below my deductible, so I paid it. Great experience both times.

    I scheduled a drop-off appointment and arrived at the store at 8:15 AM. At that time, I was told the service should not take very long and that I would be contacted once the work was completed or if there were any updates. By lunchtime, I had still not heard from anyone, so I attempted to contact the shop directly. The only option available was the Safelite 800 number. The representative attempted to contact the store multiple times, but no one answered the phone. I tried again around 2:30 PM with the exact same result — still no answer from the shop. At approximately 4:15 PM, I drove back to the location myself to check on the status of my vehicle. When I arrived, my truck’s windshield had been removed and the replacement windshield was simply sitting off to the side. No one was actively working on my truck. There were only two other vehicles in the shop, and only one of them appeared to be receiving service. Meanwhile, the technician had music blaring loud enough to be heard throughout the lobby area. To make matters worse, there was no office personnel available anywhere in the front office. I ultimately had to walk into the warehouse area just to find someone to speak with regarding the status of my vehicle. At that point, I was told it would take “another 30 to 45 minutes,” which ultimately turned into an additional two-hour wait. This is now the second time within the past year that I have had an extremely poor experience with Safelite, at two different locations. Frankly, I am completely fed up. For a company as large and well-known as Safelite, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, communication, and customer service than what I experienced.

    Had a crack in my windshield and contacted Safelite, whom I have used before. Online scheduling was easy, they stayed in touch and even called me several times before appointment. Technician did a beautiful job and pointed out that if I bundled my repair I would save $30 and receive new windshield wiper blades. I have used Safelite several times and am always happy.

    I made a reservation for Safelite to come to my apartment between 8 AM to 12 PM. No one showed up or called me. I tried to call Safelite and got stuck with their AI bot agent for a long time. The first human I talked to dropped me back to the AI bot. The second person I talked to was nice and tried to help, but I still did not hear back from the tech who was supposed to come until a few hours later. I cancelled my appointment and then went with a different business, All Star Auto Glass (Cole), after doing some research and finding that Safelite was about double/triple the price compared to most businesses around Houston
