  I rented a mid size suv from IAH airport. The rental car center is about five minutes off property. A shuttle bus takes you there. You get checked in and walk to your vehicle. They have a decent selection. My vehicle had over 50,000 miles on it but it was clean. There was some squeaky noise from the front door but not too bad. The staff was friendly and helpful. The same can be said for the return. Follow the signs to the rental car center. Pull into the garage and pull forward. A person checks the car in, sends you a receipt and you take the shuttle back to the terminal. Make sure you clean it out and fuel it up.

  I visited Enterprise on Thursday, May 14 after already being given the runaround by the Enterprise location on North Loop West. Customer service had assured me that everything had been completed online and that I should not have any issues at the next location. When I arrived, the manager Nia and another African American female employee ( my apologies for not getting her name) who assisted me were absolutely amazing. They were patient, professional, understanding, and very kind throughout the process. I truly appreciate the way they treated me during a stressful situation. Unfortunately, my experience with another employee a white male with colored eyes ( whose name I also did not get) was completely unacceptable. His attitude and customer service were horrible from the start. He claimed my driver’s license was “damaged” because it had a small chip on the side. Instead of simply handing my license back to me, he continued picking and chipping at the damaged area himself, making it noticeably worse. Although I was unable to get my rental, I still managed to make it to my brother’s graduation despite the terrible experience at both locations. My biggest issue now is the condition of my license after leaving the store. I immediately placed it back into my coin purse after he returned it to me and did not take it back out until the following day. When I checked it, the entire section where he had been chipping at it was completely broken off. This honestly makes me feel as though the damage may have been done maliciously, which is extremely concerning and unacceptable. I will be following up with corporate regarding this matter because no customer should have their personal property handled in that manner. *Sidenote* I have not had to rent a vehicle in over 9 years, I just did not want to put the miles on my personal vehicle but honestly after dealing with the unprofessionalism from that individual I never will rent one again.

  Enterprise has been my preferred rental company for years based on the rates, and the type and condition of the vehicles. However, this rental wasn't as satisfying. There weren't many vehicles to choose from, and the vehicle chosen smelled of extensive Marijuana smoke; there were scratches on the left side windows (driver and passenger); and the windshield had a crack. The smoke was so bad that I had to drive with the windows down for 5 days. It was awful. However, Tiffany was great when she checked me in, and offered a discount for the inconveniences. She was very courteous and professional.

  Pleasant and happy employees with big smiles. They were knowledgeable and friendly. Easiest car return process. Thorough as they already knew that damage was there before I got the car. Dante let me know that he was aware of the damage. The best part was picking up the car. Mid size cars were lined up and I could choose any one car. I asked my son to pretend that he is shopping for a car and pick the one he liked most. My 10 year son was ecstatic. He walked around back and forth and then selected a car. He said that experience was really cool. The car was in excellent condition and so fun to drive! I was a fool to have chosen a different car rental company. It will be Enterprise come here on out, every single time!

  Terrible counter service wait time. Stood in line for 50 minutes. There were only 7 people in front of me when I arrived. There were only 3 counter associates. After helping 2 people, the 3 counter associates then became 2. So, now there are 5 people on front of me and only 2 workers. I'm semi-disabled and can't stand for long at all. There are no seats or benches on which to sit. I was literally about to collapse by the time I got to the counter. I then get back upstairs with my paperwork, and have to wait in line AGAIN to get my car. There's nowhere to sit down out there either. I finally got the car after about 15 minutes, and then had to wait in line, in the car, to get out of the gate, because they ONLY had 1 attendant checking cars out of the gate. This was a Friday afternoon. They know they're going to be busy, but have workers walking all about the place, not working. I always use Hertz and don't even have to check in at a counter, but I saved $20 by using Enterprise this time. I was being cheap, and by wasting that much time, it wound up costing me a lot more than the $20 I saved, There is absolutely NO excuse for that kind of wait. This is poor management, all around. The associates I dealt with were friendly, though, so at least I had a good experience with them.
