  Stopped by just to buy a new brake stopper pad and once I left, my battery had died! Willie helped jump my car and Willie noted that my battery needed to be replaced. He helped me out SO much and was so knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

  I visited the Autozone at 4545 Griggs in Houston yesterday. It was my birthday and I was in town from Austin with my disabled parents for my dad's pancreatic cancer appointments at MD Anderson Cancer Center. When I attempted to start the car, it would not even turn on the electric system. I had to send my parents via Uber to the hospital without me. I called roadside assistance and was able to get a jump and I went straight to Autozone, assuming I would have to replace the battery since I could not risk the car breaking down while I was transporting my parents. Willie Craig came out and tested my battery. He took a look at the battery itself and noticed immediately that the problem was a loose connection and not the battery itself. He was softspoken and kind and explained everything to me so that I understood what he was doing and why. It would have been easy for him to take advantage of the situation. I was overwhelmed and desparate and vulnerable, he could have easily sold me an expensive battery I didn't need. But he didn't. He was honest and helpful and fixed my problem for free, quickly so I could get back to my parents at the hospital and then back to Austin safely. I am so grateful that Willie Craig was there and helped me. It meant so much!! It definitely made me a loyal Autozone customer and I hope that Willie gets the recognition he deserves.

  Placed a same day pickup order for 1- 5 quarts of oil. Still waiting for this order to even be processed. Even went to the store and there was no help..

  On August 5, I came here after getting my car jumped due to a almost dead battery. I waited in line for a battery check with the intentions of buying a new battery. Craig did a battery check then said its not my battery its the alternator, showed me prices, then gave me a number to some mobile mechanic that literally has no ratings no online presence. Obviously couldn't afford the cost of a new alternator so I told him to give me a jump so that I can go home and discuss with said mechanic. The mobile mechanic was too pricey and didnt offer any type of payment plan or eta of how long does this process take. The more I thought about it, the more it didnt make sense because the car is only 9 years old but I've only owned it for 5. Therefore, I got a second opinion from another mechanic outside of Autozone's recommendations. The next mechanic said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the alternator, you just need a new battery (like I mentioned to AutoZone THE FIRST TIME). Seriously went almost TWO weeks without a car because Craig wanted to upsell me as a single woman that he thought may not know much about cars. Honestly disgusting to take advantage of the situation. WOMEN BEWARE‼️‼️‼️
