I recently had one of the worst customer service experiences at AutoZone involving a customer service representative named Stephanie. I arrived at the store around 9:42 PM needing assistance with purchasing and exchanging a battery. Instead of providing professional customer service, Stephanie responded with an attitude and stated, “Yeah, I don’t have time for that, I’m trying to close.”
As a paying customer, I found this behavior extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I understand businesses may be preparing to close, but customers should still be treated with courtesy and respect during operating hours. What disappointed me even more was that after completing my purchase and battery exchange, there was no appreciation shown for my business—not even a simple “thank you.”
I addressed the issue respectfully at the time because her remark was inappropriate and unacceptable. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to this AutoZone location. Customer service representatives should reflect professionalism, patience, and proper coaching, teaching, and training in customer care, and unfortunately Stephanie failed to demonstrate any of those qualities during my visit.
I hope management takes this matter seriously and works toward improving the customer service experience for future customers.

I needed a headlamp replaced on one side of my Hyundai Tucson. I asked if someone could change the lamp. The store manager, Jose and Viviana the assistant came out to assist me. Jose showed Viviana how to change my headlamp and they finished rather quickly! What a relief! Thank You for the great customer service.

I went in to purchase a signal light and I asked José the store manager if by any chance one the workers was able to help me change. He said yes, we do as courtesy to the customers, but he was the only one working at the moment and if I could wait he would come see if he could do it.
José was kind enough to change the light for me and for that I will ever be grateful. Best service I have ever received. 🙏
