  The store associate sold me a battery and refused to help me install the battery. They then let me and my brother-in-law borrow a tool set (only after I gave them my license to hold). The tool set was missing one of the socket wrench sizes we needed! They took their set back, but held my license. By then, I’d called every roadside assistance at my disposal. No one wanted to help because of the type of battery terminal I have. The AAA technician, my brother-in-law’s uncle, and finally my parents came to my aide. Well, I asked for a refund so I could go across the street to buy a battery at O’Reilley’s since they said they could help. The store associate went in and came right back out to inform me that batteries were non-refundable. We read the whole receipt. Not. True. I’ve used AutoZone for the past 15+ years and have never had an issue with getting help replacing my batteries on several different vehicles. I yelled that I was calling corporate. Mind you, the battery had been sitting on Auto Zone’s own cart. It had not touched my car. I’d been standing out in front of the store this entire time while my BIL attempted to get my old battery out with the partial tool set. It wasn’t until I had all my other help come to the store, preparing to help me, that the store manager came out and changed my battery in about 10 minutes. No issues. The young guy kept hemming and hawing about the wrap around terminal. The manager had no issues. At. All. Turns out my mother and in and demanded the corporate number. That was when the manager FINALLY came out to help. I’ve never felt so undervalued as a customer at an Autozone. This location is awful! It was 100°+ degrees outside. They had me, 3 kids, my sister and brother in law sitting in the sun!

  I was able to find what I needed but without any help the people who work there now don't have knowledge of fixing a car just how to find the parts on a computer sometimes you find someone but it is rare
