  I have been a longtime Alamo customer, both personally and through corporate travel, and while I've always received excellent service, my recent experience at the Houston IAH location was truly exceptional. Josh, the IAH Manager, went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. His professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to ensuring a positive customer experience were unparalleled. Employees like Josh are the reason customers remain loyal. He is a tremendous asset to Alamo and deserves recognition for his exceptional work.

  Great experience with Alamo at IAH this weekend! I had reserved a full-size vehicle big enough for 5 people with 5 suitcases, and at pickup had several options, but none of them were very big. I selected the one that seemed to be the roomiest of the options in my row to pick from and headed to the exit. When we got to the Exit Booth, I noticed that there was an alert on the instrument cluster saying that the key fob battery was low. I alerted Mr. Marco Cruz, our Exit Booth Agent, and he said that if the battery died, the car would be immobilized and recommended I back up and he would go find me something else. He did that right away and got our group something that was a better fit as well. Thank you to Mr. Cruz for the exceptional service on Friday, October 9, 2026!

  The pickup and drop-off process at Houston international Airport could not of been quicker or easier! Unlike my sister's experience with a different rental company that was operating on AI, which took hours and was a complete nightmare. Seriously, we were at the hotel an hour away and she was still there trying to show proof of insurance to a computer and out of the country customer service agent. At Alamo, we dealt with a live person, on site, and was on the road 20 minutes after landing! I usually just pick the cheapest rental that comes up on the list but will definitely go with Alamo in the future. I have never had a quicker experience picking up a car rental. No upsell pressure or list of unnecessary addons from the counter agent, just offered the gas package and took no for an answer (however it was actually a good deal and I had wished I took it, but I'll know for next time). Also, I don't know if we just got lucky but there was a shuttle bus to take us to and from the airport with no wait both times.

  I had an incredible experience with Alamo on my recent trip to Houston Texas. I made reservations for the rental car and prepaid and also set up the skip the counter option. I was very impressed by the whole operation. When I got off my flight, I took the shuttle to the car rental lot. I got there quite quickly and followed the instructions directly to the lot where I was greeted by a friendly attendant, who gave me the instructions to pick any vehicle that was in a certain section of their lot and the keys were in there. I selected a vehicle that was definitely an upgrade from what I was expecting. The vehicle was in excellent condition and served me well for my three day trip. Returning the rental was just a smooth. I returned it to the lot and an attendance was there who quickly checked me out and we caught the shuttle back to the airport was very efficient Quick. Everyone was professional and kind and I would highly recommend Alamo.

  Am Schalter wurden wir sehr freundlich und kompetent bedient. Der Ablauf erfolgte schnell, da wir vorab bereits Online unsere Daten an Alamo übertragen hatten. Skip the Counter konnten wir vermutlich wegen der Bestellung von SiriusXM nicht nutzen. Die von uns reservierte Fahrzeugkategorie war ein Luxury SUV. Statt eines Lincoln Navigator oder Cadillac Escalade, erhielten wir einen Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4x4. Ein anderes Fahrzeug stand auf Nachfrage nicht zur Verfügung. In der Fahrzeughalle stand der Jeep dann für uns mit bereits geöffneten Türen und Heckklappe bereit. Das Fahrzeug war neu und hatte nur 1503 Mi auf dem Tacho. Die vorherige Innenreinigung war nur zufriedenstellend erfolgt, da sich vom Vormieter noch eine leere Wasserflasche und Papierreste im Fahrzeug befanden. Die Freigabe von SiriusXM musste in den ersten Tagen der Anmietung mehrfach von Alamo neu gestartet werden, da keine Senderauswahl mehr möglich war. Dies geschah problemfrei via SMS. Die Rückgabe in Housten erfolgte nach zwei Wochen problemfrei. Das Fahrzeug wurde in Augenschein genommen und nach kurzer Zeit wurde per E-Mail ein Protokoll zugesandt. Alamo am Flughafen George Bush in Houston können wir jedenfalls mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
