  I rented my Alamo car at the Houston hobby airport. I was in Houston for a family emergency and that was very upset when I returned my car. The girl that checked my car in couldn't have been more nice more kind and more understanding. What a great employee I wish I had her name. I definitely will choose Alamo again. Just a great experience a nice car and great employees. Way to go Alamo

  Five stars to this Houston hobby airport location! Alex, the shuttle driver went above and beyond to help me get to this location after my previously scheduled reservation (at a competitor) got canceled due to a late after hours arrival. The manager stayed open to help me get a rental for the Week and Erin, the car rental return agent was exceptional with customer service and helpful directions. Will definitely rent from them again.

  The pickup and drop off process was much better than other companies I had used in Houston, including the bus driver meeting me at the car to take my luggage. Great customer service at Alamo!

  great experience and customer service. Shuttle was timely on the way to the facility and back to the airport which feels most important lol. We had a choice of car when picking it out which made it fun. Had an exceptional interaction with Shay when returning our car!

  If I could give this location zero stars, I would. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Before making the trip to the airport, I did exactly what any reasonable customer would do: I called Alamo’s customer service to verify that my payment method would be accepted. I was assured that everything was fine, so I drove all the way to the rental location expecting to pick up my reserved vehicle. When I arrived, the staff refused to honor the information I had been given. Instead of trying to help or offering any reasonable solution, they were dismissive, unprofessional, and completely indifferent to the fact that I had relied on their company’s own customer service. I wasted my time, gas, and effort because the left hand of this company clearly has no idea what the right hand is doing. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the employees. There was no empathy, no apology for the conflicting information, and no attempt to resolve the situation. I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer with a confirmed reservation. If your company has policies that differ from what customer service tells customers, then your employees need to honor those representations or your customer service department needs proper training. Customers should not be penalized because your company cannot communicate internally. I left without a vehicle, after wasting hours of my evening, because of Alamo’s incompetence and lack of accountability. I will never rent from Alamo again, and I will actively discourage friends, family, and colleagues from doing so. There are too many rental companies that value their customers to waste time with one that clearly doesn’t.
