  Jason did a great job helping me with my battery purchase. My truck wouldn't start for me yesterday, and I was pretty sure it was my battery even though it was only about 18 months old. I wanted a Die Hard Platinum because it offers a 4 year full replacement warranty. However, before selling me the new battery, Jason went the extra mile to confirm my current battery actually needed to be replaced. Once he confrmned the battery was not holding a change, he quickly installed the Die Hard and got me back on my way. Thanks for the excellent service, Jason!

  I entered the store and directly approached the manager showing the part I bought earlier for the oil drain and asked if they have oversize bolt. Even though I showed him the part I brought to the store, this manager accused me of stealing and started video recording and aked me to leave the part and leave the store.when I was comparing two parts one I brought to the store and the other from the store shelf. Although I told him he saw me with the part when I was entering, he still asked me to leave store. I asked him to show video surveillance and prove that I stole anything from store, he asked me to leave. I said I will complain, he said he is the big boss there. He never apologized and was so proud of what he did to the customer. Horrible experience, will never return to this store.

  I stopped by Advance around 1:30PM on 9/1/26 because I needed help installing windshield wipers and putting windshield washer fluid in my car after coming from a very unsettling experience at Autozone on Jones/West. I walked into Advance carrying everything I had just purchased from Autozone. Both employees greeted me when I walked in, Tony at the counter and clearly in the middle of something, saw the items in my hands asked, very politely, “Are you ready to check out, ma’am?” I first apologized and then explained that I hadn’t purchased the items there but that I really needed help installing them and refilling my wiper tank. His response was immediate: “Absolutely.” He didn’t hesitate. He didn’t make me feel like I was inconveniencing him. He didn’t tell me that I needed to purchase something from the store first. He simply helped me. I was already overwhelmed, and upset with a storm coming in, I just wanted to make sure everything was done correctly. Tony was incredibly patient and walked me through everything while installing the wipers and helping with the washer fluid. At one point he asked why I hadn’t had the other store help me. I told him I had just had a really unhelpful and unpleasant experience and that I remembered Advance had helped me in the past. I was honestly so relieved to finally have someone help me that I got emotional. That may sound silly to some people, but when you already feel overwhelmed, having someone treat you with patience and kindness instead of making you feel like a burden makes a huge difference. Tony went above and beyond for me today, and the fact that I hadn’t even purchased the products from Advance makes his willingness to help mean even more. **Tony - please know that your kindness made a genuine difference in my day. Thank you for treating me with patience, respect, and basic human kindness when I really needed it. You probably thought you were just helping someone with her windshield wipers, but you genuinely turned my entire afternoon around. ** Management - please recognize this employee. Customer service like this deserves to be acknowledged. I will absolutely be returning to Advance Auto Parts because of experiences like this.
