- RWRon Webb2 days ago5.0I ended up here two days apart needing to have two different batteries tested and replaced. One of those was a Sunday. The staff jumped on my issue quickly, conducted the test, and replaced my battery. There was no charge for the battery install and they did a great job. They were able to look up the warranty information on the batteries, as well, which was a huge help. These guys do a great job!!!
- HHHeather H3 days ago5.0I stopped by Advance around 1:30PM on 9/1/26 because I needed help installing windshield wipers and putting windshield washer fluid in my car after coming from a very unsettling experience at Autozone on Jones/West. I walked into Advance carrying everything I had just purchased from Autozone. Both employees greeted me when I walked in, Tony at the counter and clearly in the middle of something, saw the items in my hands asked, very politely, “Are you ready to check out, ma’am?” I first apologized and then explained that I hadn’t purchased the items there but that I really needed help installing them and refilling my wiper tank. His response was immediate: “Absolutely.” He didn’t hesitate. He didn’t make me feel like I was inconveniencing him. He didn’t tell me that I needed to purchase something from the store first. He simply helped me. I was already overwhelmed, and upset with a storm coming in, I just wanted to make sure everything was done correctly. Tony was incredibly patient and walked me through everything while installing the wipers and helping with the washer fluid. At one point he asked why I hadn’t had the other store help me. I told him I had just had a really unhelpful and unpleasant experience and that I remembered Advance had helped me in the past. I was honestly so relieved to finally have someone help me that I got emotional. That may sound silly to some people, but when you already feel overwhelmed, having someone treat you with patience and kindness instead of making you feel like a burden makes a huge difference. Tony went above and beyond for me today, and the fact that I hadn’t even purchased the products from Advance makes his willingness to help mean even more. **Tony - please know that your kindness made a genuine difference in my day. Thank you for treating me with patience, respect, and basic human kindness when I really needed it. You probably thought you were just helping someone with her windshield wipers, but you genuinely turned my entire afternoon around. ** Management - please recognize this employee. Customer service like this deserves to be acknowledged. I will absolutely be returning to Advance Auto Parts because of experiences like this.

I normally get help looking up the product for my car. And everything is smooth but not today. They lost a very loyal customer today. It's sad that you cant build up good standing relationships with companies... as long as they get there money.. I didnt even want any money back just a simple switch to the correct headlight.. how sad of a company.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward.
