- SAsammy arredondoJul 30, 20262.0i had purchased some ramps from this location & they kept slipping forward when trying to get the car on the ramps. i tried returning them and they denied the return claiming they are considered tools and are used. i explained how the car couldn’t get on the ramps and they kept slipping forward, but they denied the return. i went on their website and i seen the non refundable items, tools and ramps are not on that list. i contacted customer service and they said what their employees say goes. they asked if i could go AGAIN to the store and SEE if they can return them. it’s not guaranteed ill get a refund. i didn’t know customer service didn’t matter in advance. this is not acceptable. if the car stayed and the ramps slipped forward who would have been held accountable for the injuries ? i’ll never go back to this location or any advance for that matter.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
