  Had a wonderful experience with Mark L at the Hewitt Drive in Hewitt, Texas. He was efficient in replacing my headlight bulb & showed great customer service. I was in & out within 5 minutes.

  Quen took care of me today. He went out to see the problem & knew what it was fast. But he was very knowledgeable. He explained the whole problem to me, & gave me a temporary fix! I always love this store.

  These people broke my windshield wiper intentionally. I purchased a set of windshield wiper blades, and requested that they install them for me. They were working fine before that, I just needed new blades, afterwards, my driver side wiper was broken, and when I complained about it, I got some story about it being impossible for the clerk to have done that, and that it was just a piece of plastic that had become dry rot from sitting in the sun and broken. I have had many cars over the years, and they have set out on hot Tx parking lots all summer and I have never had this happen to not one of those cars, and the fact still remains that my wipers were working before he touched them, and also that I'm not only out of the $54.00 that my new wiper blades cost me, but whatever the repair is going to cost as well.

  Unfortunately, after an annoying experience with the woman manager (glasses, older-middle aged), I don’t care to do business with this location. Brought in a part for a return that I had in my possession for 3 weeks. It was faulty immediately upon installation, confirmed by another Autozone location, on my vehicle. Out of sheer urgency, I had to use it until I no longer could. Part is under warranty, and went to issue a return. The manager I previously mentioned came into the equation complaining about fluid on the part (it was professionally uninstalled and replaced with an actual functioning part), but said she’d offer me the refund this one time. Cool! Well, I paid cash initially, and thus, the refund had to be in cash. Around ~$400. I was told they do not have enough cash on hand to offer a refund, call back in a few hours to close and see if they have enough funds. Call back 3 hours later, during the timeframe suggested, and was told by a regular employee that the manager that previously green lit and authorized my return, no longer wants to do it. I say screw it and go on about my business, still trying to process the return as we speak. It’s just very unfortunate that the manager herself couldn’t find the gall to communicate it directly to me, and instead ran me around a circle and delegated it to someone else for no reason. Waste of time & energy.

  Thank you, David! My girlfriend needed her check-engine code read the other day. I’m a mechanic, and used to work at this AZ. Told her to get it scanned, kept me on speaker to walk her through it, but it wasn’t even necessary. David went out with her, walked her through it step by step, and when it came back for needing to clean out her cats, he immediately recommended the CataClean product - followed by detailing the specific process and instructions required so it actually works correctly. It was really refreshing to hear him actually know what he was talking about. So thank you for helping her, in a correct way, for your patience, and genuinely caring about your job.
