  Absolute trash behavior from that particular branch. I booked a car for 11 pm pick up, arrived to the airport and they refused to rent one to me, because they didn't have cars available. That never happens with National, if they allow a booking, it means cars are available. Anyways, I had to change plans, stay a night in Harlingen, pay for hotel and take a flight next morning instead. 2 weeks after that (!) I received a charge on my credit card, for the amount of $50 from Harlingen branch without any receipts or email explanations. I had to spend my time calling National customer service, they said I should wait 1-2 more weeks for it to be reversed. I don't know since when National is charging for "cancelled" or refused cars, but I don't recall seeing such charges ever before. I rent twice a month or more with National and I never have issues with any shady charges, so this is outrageous.

  Great National location. Got to the National desk 10 hours before I was scheduled due to making a standby flight and a hectic travel day. Updating my National reservation slipped my mind but when I arrived, they made a car ready and available!

  I had requested a full size SUV in my reservation and they didnt have any available eventhough I had reserved this type of vehicle. Instead they gave me a small suv and told me this was the best they could do. I always run into these issues with this airport.

  Reserved with them, arrived on time and they had no cars available. No help. Rude.

  Wonderful customer service! Staff offered personalized recommendations for places to check out in the area while on vacation. Vehicle was very clean and well maintained.
