Cesar Moreno greeted me at the entrance and provided excellent and knowledgeable information regarding the exact vehicle I had in mind. Once I test drove and decided on a vehicle he helped me fill out all the pertinent information then had me meet with a gentleman in finance to close out the deal. Having finished he then provide his cell phone number so I could coordinate the vehicle pickup with him. These gentlemen facilitated the whole experience greatly. Highly recommend.

Attention Bert Ogden Toyota of Harlingen I am writing to formally complain about an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience my 78 year-old mother had at Bert Ogden Toyota Harlingen on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. My mother had a scheduled appointment for a simple oil change at 2:00pm. Upon arrival, she was assisted by Joseph Medina, who took her vehicle for the service. He later returned and informed her that she needed a tire rotation and other additional services. My mother explained that she was there specifically for an oil change. Joseph then refused to perform the oil change unless she agreed to the additional services he was recommending. My mother was confused and uncomfortable with the way she was being treated, so she called me. I asked to speak with Joseph directly. During our conversation, I explained that my mother had scheduled a simple oil change. His response was extremely rude and dismissive. At one point, he said, “You know you have to pay for it, right?” Payment was never an issue or even a topic of discussion. Of course, we understand that services must be paid for. His tone and behavior were so unprofessional that we ultimately decided not to have the oil change performed. What happened afterward was even more concerning. My mother asked Joseph where her vehicle was\. He pointed in the general direction of the vehicle but did not bring it to her. When she asked if he could please bring the vehicle around, he told her **NO**, stating that he was assisting another customer. My mother reminded him that she was also a customer, yet he ignored her and left her to walk outside and locate her vehicle herself. My mother is 78 years old, and the temperature outside that day was close to 100 degrees. Regardless of her age, no customer should be treated this way, but the fact that she was an elderly customer makes the situation even more unacceptable\. She described Joseph as extremely rude and angry throughout the interaction. When my mother asked for his name, he told her, “I’m Joseph Medina, the only one here.”When I spoke with him, I also asked for his name and received essentially the same response. His attitude throughout the entire interaction was disrespectful and completely inconsistent with the level of customer service we expect from a dealership. Our family has purchased vehicles from Bert Ogden and has continued to give our business to your company. Unfortunately, after this experience, we are extremely disappointed and are seriously reconsidering doing business with Bert Ogden in the future. I am asking that this incident be investigated and that Joseph Medina’s conduct be addressed appropriately. I also hope your service department will take this opportunity to ensure that service advisors are properly trained in customer service, professionalism, and how to treat elderly customers with basic courtesy and respect. My mother went in for nothing more than a routine oil change. She should have been treated with respect, given the option to decline additional services, and assisted with retrieving her vehicle. Instead, she left feeling disrespected and humiliated. This was completely unacceptable, and I would appreciate a response explaining how this matter will be addressed. Attention: Adrian Barone, Natasha Del Barrio, and Mr. and Mrs. Vackar Sincerely, Rosemarie Martinez

We had such a great experience working with Alfonso Roque while purchasing our car! He was incredibly helpful, patient, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we felt comfortable and confident with our purchase. We truly appreciate all of his help and highly recommend Alfonso to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience. Thank you, Alfonso!

I can’t thank Israel ("Cabrito") and the team at Bert Ogden enough! After a couple terrible experiences with BHPH dealers, I walked in feeling super discouraged, but Israel absolutely turned that around. He didn't care about a quick sale. He genuinely cared about getting me into a safe, reliable mom car that was right for my family. He gave me patience, respect, and zero pressure. Incredible people with huge, servants hearts. Do yourself a favor and ask for Cabrito, you won't regret it! God bless and cover this business.

This was my first time bringing my vehicle to this dealership for service, and I wanted to share my experience so others are aware. I scheduled an appointment for a routine oil change. When I arrived, I was actually impressed by how friendly everyone was. The staff greeted me right away, the check-in process was smooth, and I accepted the service terms before waiting for my vehicle. Only a couple of minutes after my car was taken back, I received a call asking if I wanted an appraisal on my vehicle. They were pretty persistent about getting me into a newer model, but I politely declined because I was only there for an oil change. Once my service was finished, I paid and walked out to my car. As soon as I started it, the engine had the roughest idle I have ever experienced. I was about to drive away, but something didn’t feel right, so I trusted my instincts and went back inside to speak with the service department. I explained that my car had been running perfectly before the oil change and that it now had a severe rough idle. Their first response was to offer a $210 diagnostic, which didn’t make sense to me considering the problem started immediately after the service. I suggested that something may have been left disconnected during the oil change, but I was told the vehicle supposedly came in that way. After more discussion, they had the technician inspect the vehicle again. They eventually found a chunk of debris in the throttle body. While I’m glad the issue was identified, it’s difficult not to question how that happened when my vehicle was running perfectly before I brought it in. The entire experience left me with very little confidence in the service department and made me wonder whether the issue could have been avoided altogether. I hope this was simply an honest mistake, but based on my experience, I would recommend paying close attention to how your vehicle runs before leaving the dealership after any service.
