  Terrible experience at Grease Monkey this morning. I’ve been a customer there since 2022. I went in there twice last week and they were out of the oil I needed. I went back this morning and asked if they had it. I said this was my third time coming in for an oil change. He immediately got very defensive and said that can’t be true and wanted to know when I had been there. I said over the last 10 days (it was actually over 8 days). He said there is no way that is true. I asked him if he was calling me a liar. He said there is no way what you are saying is true. So I said if you are going to say I am a liar I will take my business elsewhere. He said get off his property and don’t come back. I pulled out of the bay and stopped so I could latch my hood. He yelled at me to get off his property now or he would call the police. Horrible and unprofessional behavior from a business. Clearly I won’t be back.

  Thank you to Phil and his team for the oil changing and fixing a mistake the Kia Dealership made during a previous oil change that caused my car to leak oil! Quick, and easy service.

  The guys at this place were INCREDIBLE! They were quick and affordable. They also Answered all my questions and didn’t seem like they were trying to pressure me into anything I didn’t need. They also helped me feel comfortable asking questions to better service my car. I will definitely be back!!

  Great experience at Grease Monkey in Hallsville. Phil is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and making sure the job is done right. His mechanics are quick, efficient, and professional, which made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. It’s hard to find honest service these days, but this team definitely delivers. Highly recommend Grease Monkey in Hallsville for anyone needing vehicle maintenance or repairs.

  Got an oil change from this location. The next day there was a huge puddle of oil on my driveway. Went back up there and asked them to have a look since it was obviously something they did/didn’t do. They told me they didn’t see anything wrong with anything they did, and that the cause of the leak was from a bad seal near my transfer case. I mentioned how big of a coincidence that was considering my truck wasn’t leaking oil before I got my oil changed and the guy agreed. (Turns out this was the manager I was speaking to) I left their shop and took my truck to my mechanic. He was able to squeeze me in and quickly diagnosed the issue, the oil filter was barely screwed on. He was able to twist it off with his fingers. So after paying for a new filter and the materials needed to clean the oil off my drive way I went back to Grease Monkey to let them know what the issue was, and to inquire about a refund. That same manager who lied straight to my face about where my truck was leaking from, told me that when he inspected my truck that morning concerning the leak, he didn’t see any oil around the filter. There’s another lie. My mechanic saw oil on the filter immediately, as did I that morning when I found the oil leaking all over my driveway. Not only do they perform shotty work, they’ll lie to you more than once just to refuse to take any accountability instead of trying to make right what they wronged in the first place. They also wouldn’t refund me for any of it, told me I’d have to call corporate. Anyways, don’t make the same mistake I did, even if they’re running a good deal. It isn’t worth the headache. I wouldn’t trust this place to air up my tires after this experience.
