I had a flat tire today while driving on 121 and 114 and pulled into the parking lot of Sewell Cadillac in Grapevine. With the rain and lightning, I honestly thought it couldn’t have happened at a worse time. I called my husband to drive from Fort Worth to help me put on the spare tire.
David stopped by and kindly offered to help. He brought over his crew, Zach and Macos, and they had the spare changed in less than 10 minutes. This is what true customer service looks like. I wasn’t even there to buy a car, yet they still took the time to help me during a stressful situation.
Thank you for hiring such an incredible team! Because of this experience, I will always speak highly of this dealership, even though I’ve never purchased a car there!

Research vehicle before buying
We bought an Escalade in 2008. Was a wonderful vehicle. No issues. When my wife wanted a newer Escalade, naturally, we came back to Sewell. Again, great price, great vehicle. First warning sign, at signing that is when it was revealed there was a carfax on the vehicle. Minor damage to passenger side. We looked the vehicle over again and I know how to look at paint. Nothing found. Bought it. Three months later the front driver side sensor is going on and off. Can't find anything. It stops, It starts again. Take it in for a look at the Chevrolet dealership. They find the clip that holds the sensor in place is broke and the sensor had been taped back in with black electrical tape and a very good job doing it I might add. The tape weathered and the sensor came out and was reading the inside of the bumper as something that was fixing to be hit. Sewell fixed that minor problem. Then came the major problem. Just a couple of months ago my wife drove out of the driveway, over the curb drainiage not the curb, and on to the street. Warning comes up on the radio screen. Cannot make it go away. Rearview mirror camera locks out. Cannot make it come on. Vehicle suspension is like a 1981 dump truck because I drove one and I know how they ride. Chevrolet tells me all the shocks have failed, the radio scfreen has to be replaced and that should solve the mirror also. Total, $6,000. Through research I found the Magnetic Ride Control shocks are prone to leaking and usually start between 75k and 80k miles. We are at 75, 862 miles. There was no warranty offered with this vehicle. Do your research. We have had this vehicle around a year and have only put a little over 1000 miles on it. It is barely drove and now this. Had I done my research I would have never bought this vehicle and would went my first choice an Audi. I am not totally blaming Sewell but it sure seems someone could have forewarned about this or if you KNOW this is a Cadillac issue and you KNOW it close to the failure point then replace the shocks. But wait, if you told you would never sell a vehicle. Trust me, do your research before buying a vehicle. It is sick feeling to be told "I'm sorry but that is just a mechanical failure we can't control."

I recently bought a 2023 Cadillac Escalade Sport (CPO with 30k miles) from Sewell Cadillac of Grapevine easily the nicest vehicle I’ve ever owned. Less than 50 miles later I started getting a rough idle and an intermittent check engine light. Total nightmare scenario.
I called the service department and they immediately said “bring it in, we’ll take a look and give you a loaner.” No hassle, no questions. When I dropped it off with my daughter, we met service advisor Sydney. She was incredibly friendly, chatted with my daughter about Star Wars while we went over the issues, got us into a loaner, and had us out the door in about 20 minutes.
They communicated thoroughly and efficiently the entire time and diagnosed a known GM defect with the lifters, replaced both, and did a full thorough inspection. Sydney personally coordinated everything for loan pickup and dropping off the Cadillac at our house, she even remembered the Star Wars conversation with my daughter. The thoughtful gifts they sent along were a really nice touch.
The truck now runs better than it did the day I bought it. I couldn’t be happier with how Sewell handled everything and ALL under warranty!
Exceptional service from start to finish. They’ve definitely earned a customer for life (and I’ll probably be bugging them to extend my warranty too). Highly recommend!

Although we were not in the position to make a purchase on the day of our visit, PING WEI was so kind and generous to us to spend an extended amount of time fulfilling my dream of getting more acquainted with Cadillac products. It is my dream car and I am currently working toward purchasing it and Ping made my experience of getting familiar with what Cadillac offers phenomenal. He was extremely sincere, professional, genuine and had exceptional knowledge of the lineup and answered any and all questions that I had, and even ones I didn’t know to ask. I cannot express his kindness and how much he blessed me with taking the time to teach and rally behind this special moment for me.
