I had a great experience at Toyota of Shottenkirk. Everyone was very nice, patient, and worked with my budget to help me find the perfect vehicle at a great price.
Myra Munoz greeted us in the parking lot and helped us right away. Her customer service was amazing from the start. She took the time to search for vehicles and showed us several options. We looked at two SUVs, but we still weren’t 100% sure. Instead of rushing us, she continued searching to make sure we found the right fit. That’s when her manager, Alan Perez, stepped in to help. He was also very friendly, professional, and provided excellent customer service. Together, they were able to find the perfect vehicle for me within my budget.
I honestly went there just to look and didn’t expect to find my car so quickly. The finance director, Tyler, was also very patient and kind. He carefully went over all my information and completed the paperwork quickly and smoothly. Later that day, I realized my name had been misspelled on one of the documents. I reached out to Myra, and she kindly asked me to come back the next day. Tyler and Tony helped correct the mistake right away without any issues.
The entire process was smooth, comfortable, and welcoming from beginning to end. I will definitely come back if I ever need another vehicle, and I 100% recommend this dealership.

Bought my second car through this dealership and worked with Branson Zeiger. He was very down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and smooth to work with. He felt like he was on our side and did a great job.
When it came time to make the deal, a finance guy, Alan Perez, came over and presented the numbers. Without even saying anything to him, he presented himself very angrily and was agitated when we questioned why the price was $5,000 more than it was listed as on the website. Alan angrily implied that we were incompetent because we didn't read the text under the listing that explained why the price was higher. After checking the website again, the information he insisted was listed was not on the website, and it was confirmed to not be on the website by our dealer. Alan returned to present us a new deal, with a vape in his hand. Suddenly all the extra BS charges that we "had to pay for" were dropped. Alan was a thorn in the side to deal with to put it nicely, and combined with his anger and vape, I wasn't sure if he was trying to sell me a car or get me to leave the dealership.
Luckily, I didn't have to deal with Alan for the rest of the finance process, and instead I worked with Tyler Akins, who was extremely fast, professional and easy-going. He knew what he was doing and was happy to do it. They were even delightful enough to accommodate our process when we had to leave and come back later.
If you are looking for a dealership without many hiccups, I think this is your place. Big thank you to Branson and Tyler, and if any dealership management is reading this, I think Alan might be better suited for selling packs of cigarettes at a gas station than cars at your dealership. Thanks!

There are several reasons why I would never buy here again.
. It should not take 4.5 hours to buy a car.
I was not offered GAP insurance and the paperwork was already printed so when I said I would like it I once again had to wait for new paperwork. I co signed for someone and did not realize until after we left the dealership that he never test drove the car. Luckily it seems to be in good working order. You tried to tack on some BS fees on a used car like $600 for window tint that was done in the factory and $800 plus for the tire and windshield repair package. That’s usually an optional add on and your dealership makes them mandatory Adding $3,000 to the price. This is the only dealership I have ever been to that I have to pay for a bottle of water. Seriously you keep me there for 4.5 hours and too cheap to offer up a complimentary drink. I also didn't appreciate the fact that on your website you have a value your trade feature and all the information on the trade was accurate and it gave me a $1,500 trade value and asked me to accept the offer. Then when we get there you only gave us $500 for a running suburban.
If you’re looking to purchase a vehicle I recommend going somewhere else.

Bottom line up front the experience turned bad as soon as we sat down to “discuss numbers”. I’ve gone to 7 Toyota dealerships looking for a Tacoma that makes my wife and I happy. We’re NOT looking for perfect because yes that’s not impossible and the one we saw here checked our boxes enough to review and possibly buy. We are serious buyers with a large down payment, good credit and drove 2 hours. When we sat down for the price though, we were read numbers with a warranty I didn’t want, a clear coat I didn’t want and estimated payments that was for a different down payment. I stop feeling good about the vehicle real fast so I had ZERO wiggle room to negotiate our budget. We have a budget and we don’t like being asked “what’s the reason for our budget”, that’s personal and we don’t have to say and especially didn’t care to say after how pushy it got towards the end. The $1k discount incentive was pretty much fake because of the “forced” over priced clearcoat that’s over $1k. Don’t come here and if you do, don’t let this place sell you unnecessary “options”.
But 4 stars for the very first salesman Brayden (seems like a new guy) because he was nice, not pushy and didn’t give off vibes of scamming. I’m sorry I can’t remember the name but you were great.

I mean …… I am so very old and bought so very many vehicles from dealerships. I’ve never had a salesperson turn me away because I would not pay the sticker price of a used car. I asked for help ….asked him if we couldn’t meet somewhere close to what I was asking, which was between trade and sticker $2500 off (I get that’s a lot), what was their best offer. I was met with silence. Cold. Didn’t even explain. Just silence. Finally I broke and said “so not going to do anything with either sticker or trade”. He answered no. He would find me a cheaper truck, but no. I don’t know, may be unfair in asking for anything …, but I truly believe I can find a truck of that value for less money. Happy for them that they can sell so many that they don’t need to negotiate, but I still think he could have communicated the stance a little differently. I’m sure there will be negative comments about this comment, but I know how it was handled and what good communication is and it just missed the mark.
Well, I was feeling bad about the 3 star, but STofG did not disappoint! lol. Tried to make the purchase and was going well until they told me I had +-$4k in mandatory options. What? Unknown to me, website did not have it included in the listed price, I was supposed to pay $900 for glorified paint protection, $1895 for ceramic (not sure if the old ceramic or one that may or may not have been installed, window tint +-$800 and $1,300 for an extended warranty. Good grief! Shouldn’t non optional “options” just be a part of the price? Clearly, the used car market has shifted a bit since my last used car.
At least now I don’t feel like I’m missing out on a good deal. Just a little deceptive don’t you think?
