Unfortunately do not recommend to go for any emissions inspection + oil or other services. Spoke with technician at drop off and specifically noted I was there for a emissions only but opted in for a 3x oil change and multipoint inspection special going on for $200, which would not be a bad deal typically. Nice tech ran the VIN he saw my vehicle had an outstanding recall that could be taken care of all in one visit, I said sure I’ll get it all done in one trip: emissions, oil, and recall update. Unfortunately they did the recall cpu reset first causing the emissions which was done last to fail bc of the reset. Techs told me that “sometimes when we try and do emissions you have to drive 50-80 miles for it to pass and I needed to either go drive for an hour waste time and gas and bring it back to get it done that day or I drive and bring it back the next day. This was extremely annoying and unnecessary if they had just done what I had asked for in a logical order. If they had just done the emission before resetting anything related to the recall then it would’ve passed the same trip and not required a 50+ mile detour. When I asked Kobe why I needed to drive around and waste my gas/time I was told that “ this typically happens after an oil change…” never in my life has an oil change required 50 additional miles to pass an inspection unless the battery has been disconnected. I’m extremely disappointed in this response, acknowledgement and ownership of the mistake. All that has to be done was to say we are sorry we reset the truck for the recall prior to doing the emissions and now you have to drive it around and bring it back.

I could not be happier with my pre-owned purchase at Mac Haik Ford Pre-Owned.
Carlos Dominguez in new car sales is superb w/ not just customer support but with the ease at which I felt during the purchase process.
Jason Biniak w/ pre-owned vehicles was very pleasant and I am thankful he sat down and spoke with me. I appreciate this attention to detail and being seen.
Amiel Myint w/ the finance team could not have been nicer. I am grateful for his effort and expertise.
I thank you three gentlemen and am glad I found my next new to me 2018 Honda Ridgeline truck!

I have been using the Ford Mak Haik Quick Lane service for our 2021 Ford F150 and 2014 Ford F250 maintenance for about 5 years. I haven't wanted to fill out a survey because I have been let down my so many shops. But this location is the exception. My recent service for an oil change and rear diff oil change was so over the top good, I have given in to sending a shout out. My service advisor Ethan did a great job. The tech took a full video to show what needed or didn't need attention and Kait closed me out. All in all they haven't let me down in 5 years. Gods Job.

The service department has been pretty subpar, and unfortunately, the only reason I continue going there is because I got talked into purchasing the service plan—which is ultimately on me.
The frustrating part is being told one thing when you purchase the plan, only to find out when the service actually comes due that certain items supposedly aren’t covered. On top of that, there always seems to be an attempt to upsell services based solely on mileage. Just because a truck reaches a certain mileage doesn’t necessarily mean every recommended service needs to be performed immediately. You should look at the overall condition, usage, and maintenance history of the vehicle rather than simply checking a mileage box.
When you’re paying for a service and inspection, you also expect the basic things to be taken care of. Something as simple as topping off the windshield washer fluid was overlooked, and the DEF wasn’t even filled to 100%.
For a $100K+ truck, you’d expect a little more attention to detail. It’s the small things that make a difference in customer service, and unfortunately, those small things have been missed repeatedly.
Lesson learned for me: I’ll be much more careful about where I purchase service plans in the future. Unfortunately, the customer satisfaction that I expected when purchasing a vehicle at this price point just isn’t there.
It's not on the service dept guys they just doing their job. End of day it's on upper management and Ford as a whole.

One year later, the same problems remain unresolved after paying $1,321.91
On August 1, 2025, we picked up my wife’s 2018 Ford Edge from Mac Haik Ford in Georgetown after paying a total of $1,321.91 for several services.
The primary reason we brought the vehicle in was because the power liftgate was working intermittently. Sometimes it would open normally, but at other times it would stop working completely for two or three days. This is a serious inconvenience because my wife uses the vehicle every weekday for her cleaning business and needs constant access to the trunk to load and unload her vacuum cleaner, mops, cleaning supplies, towels, and other work equipment.
According to the invoice, the dealership diagnosed an internal failure of the liftgate latch and replaced it. We were charged $453.75 for labor and $360.70 for the liftgate latch assembly, totaling $814.45 for this repair alone.
We also brought the vehicle in because the left front tire-pressure sensor continuously showed a low-tire warning even though the tire was not low. We paid an additional $45.00 in labor and $104.63 for a replacement TPMS sensor.
Approximately one week after the repairs, both problems returned.
The liftgate began behaving exactly as it had before the repair. It may work properly for one or two weeks, then stop opening completely for several days before suddenly working again. The same false low-tire warning also returned from the left front sensor.
My wife contacted the dealership and was told that she would need to bring the vehicle back during the week so they could inspect it. The problem is that she depends on this vehicle Monday through Friday for her business and does not have another vehicle available. She has repeatedly asked whether she could bring it in on a Saturday, since the dealership is open, but was told they would not accept the vehicle on Saturday for this type of service.
It has now been approximately one year, and the issues for which we paid a substantial amount of money have never been permanently resolved. We paid more than $800 specifically to repair the liftgate, yet it continues to have the same intermittent failure it had before the repair.
Because both repaired problems returned almost immediately, I have serious concerns about the accuracy of the diagnosis, the quality of the parts installed, and the workmanship performed. At a minimum, I expected the dealership to provide a practical way to reinspect and correct repairs that failed within approximately one week.
We did not pay $1,321.91 for temporary results. We paid for the problems to be properly diagnosed and repaired. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this service department.
