I had my windshield replaced by these guys in May. They broke a part on my hood and promised to repair it. Never repaired it. My windshield is defective (it's delaminating) and I literally can't speak to a human representative no matter how hard I've tried. They respond right away when booking an appointment, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when you try to follow up about defective service.

I was so sad when a rock hit my windshield on my Bronco, I had only had a it for 3 weeks! I booked an appt with Safelite as soon as I could and on appt day, Ian was a great communicator! He was able to accommodate me when I had a conflict come up where I needed to run home while on my lunch break, and when he arrived for my appt he was very knowledgeable! He kept in touch with me throughout my appt and when he was done, he made sure to show me what he did and explain what my next steps would be in care. He also noticed some spots that needed to be cleaned up on the car from the replacement, and wiped them down. He was kind and considerate! Thanks for the great service!!

I’m truly amazed that we live in a world where a staff member could make a customer cry and not a single person will speak up and make things right. This is my second time at this safelite location because they improperly installed my first windshield and caused a stress crack. No updates on my vehicle were given. I had to call and come in person, and still received no updates or estimated time. My questions were met with condescending hostility. My previously clean car was left coated with debris and polyurethane shavings. I was assured my vehicle would be left clean once the service was completed, this was not the case and when I spoke up they were disrespectful and said if I wanted it vacuumed I’d have to do it myself. When I pointed out some of the debris on my dash, the technician wiped it off flicking it in my direction. I went inside to ask for paper towel so I could clean some off my steering wheel and was welcomed by glares. I left this store in tears. If you’re like me and insurance only covers window replacements with safelite, I strongly urge you to use another location or foot the bill at your dealership.

Very disappointing experience. In my opinion, this was some of the worst customer service I have experienced in the DFW area. Initially, the customer service was good. I had a minor windshield crack, and the company confirmed that it qualified for their service. I also paid for the premium service, expecting the additional benefits that came with it. Unfortunately, the windshield wipers were not replaced as expected, and the tape was not left in place for the recommended period of time. The experience changed completely once the store manager became involved. Instead of working with me to resolve the issue, I felt that the focus shifted toward avoiding responsibility and denying any replacement or further assistance. A salesperson was sent to speak with me, and after I explained that I did not feel comfortable continuing that conversation because I believed she had been sent specifically to prevent a replacement, the manager became directly involved. What followed was a frustrating back-and-forth over getting the windshield properly addressed. I expected the company to stand behind its service and work toward a reasonable solution, but instead I felt like I had to fight just to have my concerns taken seriously. “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” Unfortunately, after this experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending this location to anyone. I expected much better service, especially after paying for the premium option.

I would not advise anyone to use this Safelite location based on my experience. I have been getting the runaround for months trying to get a government vehicle glass repair completed. I was told Safelite could not get in contact with GSA to obtain authorization for the required parts. I contacted GSA myself, and they told me there should be no reason Safelite could not reach them and that they were available to handle the authorization. Since then, trying to get anyone to provide an update or take ownership of the issue has been extremely frustrating. The phone system repeatedly directs me online or makes it extremely difficult to reach an actual person. I have tried calling, emailing, online chat, and text support just trying to find out what is happening with the repair. Months later, the vehicle is still not repaired. I have spent significant time trying to get a simple status update and resolution. The biggest problem has been the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability. If there was an issue obtaining parts or authorization, someone should have communicated that and worked toward a resolution instead of leaving the customer to chase down multiple departments. Based on my experience with this Fort Worth location, I would not recommend using them.
