  The second Fort Worth Store I have been at and they both are great. Super Customer Service no upsets give it to you straight and Joe at White Settlement saved me money and most importantly time.

  I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Brakes Plus. I brought my vehicle in to have my brakes inspected. My front brake pads had recently been replaced, so my main concern was having my rear brakes checked. After their inspection, I was told that all four rotors were completely warped beyond repair and needed to be replaced. I was also told that all brake pads needed to be replaced because the front pads had supposedly been installed incorrectly and had slipped. In addition, they recommended a brake fluid flush, which I did need. My estimate came to just under $1,100. I told them I already had my own brake pads that they could install, but I was then informed that my labor cost would increase by over $200 because I would lose the discount they offered for using their parts. Something didn’t feel right, so I decided to get a second opinion. I’m very glad I did. Another mechanic inspected my vehicle and found that my front brake pads were completely fine, three out of my four rotors were perfectly fine, and only one rotor actually needed to be replaced. The only service Brakes Plus correctly recommended was the brake fluid flush. Based on that experience, I genuinely felt like I was being sold repairs that my vehicle did not need. Even the Toyota dealership would not have charged me anywhere near what I was quoted for the actual condition of my brakes. After speaking with multiple people, they all expressed concern about the estimate I was given. Because of my experience, I cannot recommend this location. I would strongly encourage anyone receiving a large repair estimate to get a second opinion before authorizing any work.
