When the temperature warms up the oil in your vehicle thins, which can strain your engine if too thin. When shopping oil for warmer months, use thicker oil. It is recommended to change your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.
Windshield Wiper Blades should be replaced every six months to a year. A fresh set of wiper blades are important for spring months. Cool conditions can make dirt, pollen, and water more stubborn to wipe away, increasing the wear and tear on your wipers.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an experience I had at AutoZone involving supervisor Dakota Colvin that made me feel racially profiled and unfairly treated as though I was attempting to steal.
I went into the store with my old alternator core because I was in the process of purchasing a new alternator. While an employee was assisting me, I specifically told the employee that I was going to step outside with my old alternator core. This occurred before I had completed the purchase of the new alternator.
When I stepped outside with my core, supervisor Dakota Colvin approached me and asked me for a receipt for it. I found this extremely concerning because the alternator core was my personal property that I had brought into the store. It was not AutoZone merchandise, and I had already informed the employee assisting me that I was taking it outside. I ended up keeping my core because I felt disrespected.
Being stopped and asked to provide a receipt for my own property made me feel as though I was suspected of stealing. Given the circumstances and the manner in which I was singled out, the interaction left me feeling racially profiled.
I understand that AutoZone has a responsibility to prevent theft and protect its merchandise. However, customers should not be treated as suspected thieves for leaving with property they personally brought into the store, especially after communicating with an employee about exactly what they were doing.
I am requesting that AutoZone management formally review this incident, including any available surveillance footage, and speak with Dakota Colvin and the employee who was assisting me. I would also like clarification regarding AutoZone's policy when customers bring old parts or cores into the store and later take those items back outside.
I would specifically like to know what led Dakota Colvin to believe that the alternator core I was carrying required a receipt and whether customers in similar situations are routinely stopped and asked to prove ownership of parts they brought into the store themselves.
I am not asking for special treatment. I expect to be treated with the same dignity, respect, and presumption of honesty as any other AutoZone customer. This experience was embarrassing and made me feel unfairly targeted, and I am asking AutoZone to take my concerns seriously and investigate what occurred.

I’m very happy with the service, thanks. Everyone was very attentive and kind. The gentleman who manages the store helped me out by giving me a ride to my car at Kroger parking lots when it died. He even remembered me. Thank you so much for everything, very kind of you.

I have a 2020 Chevy Tahoe and had a dead battery. I managed to get it to start and took it to the AutoZone on N Blue Mound Rd. Dakota helped me out and even changed the battery for me in the parking lot. The customer service the he gave me was outstanding and could not have been more appreciative of Dakota and how he helped me out!
