I called ahead and ordered a PCV valve hose for my Chevy Equinox and made it clear I needed it the same day. I was told it wasn't in stock but would be available the next day. That didn't happen. On day 2 I followed up and was told the same thing- still no part. By day 3, I hadn't received any call or update at all. This left me completely stranded and without a working vehicle longer than necessary. If your going to promise next- day availability, you need to follow through or least communicate delays. Lack of communication and reliability cost customers time, money, and trust. This will be the last time I purchase parts from this location. Thankfully there are 3 other auto parts stores in Ft Stockton that value their customers.

Typically a car battery will last 2-5 years, with premium batteries lasting 5-6 years. But you should replace it every 4 years for safe measures if you want to avoid any unwanted problems.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
