They used an impact wrench to tighten my oil filter. I had to replace the entire thing and have another shop pry it off as it was too tight for me to take off at home. Obviously tells that whoever did my oil change at this place did not care in the slightest.

I watched other customers receive communication, courtesy, and apologies when appropriate. When my vehicle was finished, I wasn’t notified, I was left waiting, my vehicle was moved to another property without anyone telling me, and at no point did anyone acknowledge or apologize for any of it.

The people and service were oaky, but my bill had extra charges on it. I had to pay a special filter fee for my vehicle when I didn’t ask for a special filter ($20 extra). Then $38 extra for more oil and a $5 shop supplies fee. My vehicle does need more than 5 qts, but $14 more per qt for full synthetic is a bit high. Then to top it off, they didn’t pull the car up (parked in another business’s parking lot behind the building) and didn’t put a sticker on the windshield for next oil change.

July 17th, 2026. Oil change was done and was told my air filter needed replaced. They had to order the air filter. I waited 2 weeks and never heard from them so I called. The person that answered the phone said that the air filter was still not there and did not know when it would be there. I called another kwik kar in the area and they had the air filter that day. When I went to have it replaced the gentleman found that my original air filter was still like new and I did not need this service. He showed me my original filter - completely clean. I have used the Flower Mound location for many years but I would not recommend it any longer- Be careful!

Stopped in Monday afternoon and there were a few customers ahead of me. They told me they would get to me as soon as possible and they delivered. I was out of there faster than expected. There were a couple of issues with my car and Deke and Tyler explained them to me and how important the issues were. I had one fixed and will keep an eye on the other. No hard sell on their part, which was nice. Overall, a great experience.
