By far the best customer service ive experienced in the last couple of years. Just find Sedrick. I watched him treat my GF with more respect and patience then any other parts store employee ever. Most would have gotten angry or at the very least frustrated because she don't know the complex questions about the parts needed for my car. much less the trim, motor, and drive train. He took time and walked her through each part until he was able to figure out what part she was there for. That is what customer service is about. Most will try to sell you whatever or at least upsell you to make a quarterly bonus. This man was honest enough to tell me he dont know the part will work even though according to the diagram it said it would He then started making calls and searching the internet until we had the right answer and right part. I sure hope Advance realizes this Euless store dont just have employees But has true assests to the company and pays them what they are worth. If not someone else for sure will.

From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to help—going out of his way multiple times to search the store and back room for exactly what I needed, including better options than what was available on the shelf for an item I needed and smaller quantities (20 pack was too much) that were much more practical for the job I was doing. At checkout, without my having to ask, he also ensured my military/veteran discount was applied, which was a thoughtful finishing touch to an already excellent experience. Thank you, Sedrick, for being an example of what knowledgeable, professional, and personable customer service looks like! Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
