    National Rental is way better than most rental car companies. They do operate mostly with businesses, but their customer care and vehicle options are much better. The fact that you can go pick from the isle that belongs to your tier gives a lot of flexibility. Wait times are negligible. The El Paso rental center had better cars in the Emerald Isle. I understand the higher tiers usually have better cars. But to see good cars in the Emerald Isle is so consoling. Had to drive a lot during the rental period. It helped having a good car. Also, having the rental garage close to airport made it super easy and fast. Pleasant faces around the garage to help us navigate. Great experience overall.

    Everything should have been better. I reserved a car, had status. Yet no cars on lot, so needed to wait in 15+ customer line with people that had no status. It was 104 degrees, waited over 30 minutes in miserable heat. Upon return , I saw 5 cases of water in the outside office. Bare minimum, they should have offered water to everyone in line. Horrible customer service. I reserved mid size SUV, yet was given enormous SUV which was so big I couldn’t see hood. When I pointed this out, was advised you can wait (even longer) and get something else. What was the point? Everything that had been brought up prior to my turn was also huge. It reminded me of either clown school or the Seinfeld episode where he had problems with rental car . It wasn’t available, even though he had a reservation. Told them it seemed they knew how to take a reservation, but didn’t know how to fulfill it. Agent would NOT print out receipt upon return , said he would email. Four days and many follow-up calls later, NO RECEIPT. An absolute calamity, top 3 of worst rentals ever although I’m hard pressed to think of any that were worse.

    I use national every week and the ease of renting a car from National is a deciding factor. In El Paso this week this location always have a great selection of vehicles. The team here is awesome, professional and freindly. Which makes traveling much easier.

    I wanted to provide some constructive feedback regarding my recent rental return experience at National in El Paso. First, I want to emphasize that this is probably the first negative service experience I have had with National in more than five years. I have been a loyal National customer for over 25 years, and one of the reasons I continue to choose National is the consistently excellent customer service I typically receive. Over the last few months, I have politely asked the representatives assisting with my vehicle returns to give me a few minutes to gather my belongings before checking the vehicle in. Sometimes I feel a bit rushed when the return process begins immediately, and as a result, I have occasionally left personal items in the car. In my experience, more than 99% of National employees are understanding and accommodating when I make this request. Unfortunately, my interaction with Isac today was different. When I politely asked for a few moments to collect my items before beginning the return process, he appeared visibly annoyed and rolled his eyes. When I later indicated that I was ready, he completed the transaction without saying a word, and I departed. While this may seem like a small interaction, it left me feeling as though my request was unreasonable when it was simply an effort to ensure I did not leave anything behind after a business trip. I am not submitting this feedback to complain for the sake of complaining. Rather, I believe National has built its reputation on professionalism, courtesy, and customer service, and this interaction did not reflect the standard I have come to expect over the last 25 years. My hope is that this feedback is viewed as an opportunity for coaching and improvement. A little patience and courtesy can go a long way toward maintaining the exceptional customer experience that has kept me loyal to National
