I spoke to a guy yesterday and asked about a promotion they have online, 20% of on orders of $100 or more. I specifically asked if I ordered online and picked up at the store would I still get the discount. He said YES, "as long as you place the order online!!" So I went online to get $580 in parts and was denied the discount because now they're saying it's only applied to home delivered parts. I need those parts for tomorrow morning 8am. I WAS TOLD that I could order online and pick up at the store and receive the discount. The manager I spoke to now stated about the discount "it's only $59 dlls". I tried to ask him if he had $59 dlls in his pocket to throw away but he kept interrupting me. I did manage to let him know his math was incorrect... 20% of $580 is $116 dlls. I'm trying to save as much as possible right now, considering the situation this country is in. And to be disregarded by a manager as if "a customer" is not important. If he feels $116 dlls is insignificant, why is he denying me the discount? Better yet, I'll pay full price but using his $116 dlls. Since according to him it's not that much.
FYI..... I called Customer Service. Zero help. They said it HAD to be home delivered. Even after letting them know their employee gave me the wrong information. They didn't even want to verify what I was saying. They refused giving customer service. They didn't or wouldn't care to right a wrong. And the store manager said he had nothing to do with online orders. Okay what about his employees.....

⭐ 1/5 – Extremely disappointed with AutoZone’s “expedited” service
I had to buy a DINAN wheel spacer because the installer damaged one on my car. Since I needed it ASAP, I paid extra for Saturday delivery by noon so I could get my car back on the road.
Went to pick it up this morning and they had zero tracking number, no updates, and basically just shrugged and said “come back Monday.” That’s it. No apology, no offer to help, nothing. They took my extra money for faster shipping and then acted like it wasn’t their problem.
Super unprofessional and zero accountability. I won’t be trusting AutoZone with any rush orders again. Save yourself the headache and order somewhere else if you actually need the part on time.I went today because they told me they will have an answer for me. Negative but there was a young man i didn’t get his named right but he did help me and called the vendor and got the right information it was the vendor fault. This gentleman went overboard to help me, that’s why I kept the order in place and I will check on Thursday. Hopefully it gets there
