Booked ahead of time and on the day of pickup they call me and tell me they don’t have anything available.

The most pointless place. We made an online reservation and came to pick up, and they don't have what we reserved. They only have a small car and said they were waiting for vans, with only 15 minutes before closing. There is literally no point in this place. We left without getting our rental. You should just close this place.

I had a frustrating experience with this rental location. I understand businesses have policies regarding payment methods, but the way this situation was handled felt unnecessarily difficult and patronizing. A few days before vehicle pickup, my credit card was deactivated due to fraudulent activity, which was completely out of my control. My bank immediately issued me a replacement physical card, but it would take 7–10 business days to arrive in the mail. In the meantime, they provided me with a digital credit card so I could still access my account and continue handling necessary transactions. The reservation was under my name, and I am the primary account holder on the credit card account. My husband is simply an authorized user on the account. While waiting for my replacement card, I attempted to use the digital card and the available card tied to the same account, but I was told it could not be accepted because the physical card in my name was not present. Instead of simply explaining the policy, staff used unnecessary personal examples about spouses arguing over credit cards and implied situations like that could be considered fraudulent. That comparison felt inappropriate and dismissive, especially since this was my own account and a legitimate shared financial account. The way it was explained felt less like customer service and more like being talked down to. These young employees should learn to better articulate their policies instead of making customers feel like they are being treated like a subject from the local “compro y vendo” posts. Bringing up unrelated relationship scenarios had nothing to do with the actual situation. We are all grown adults trying to handle a reservation, not living in some soap opera with marital disputes on the day of vehicle pickup. There were also comments like “I’d use a minivan if it were up to me, that’s just me,” even though I had specifically reserved a premium SUV for the extra cargo space I needed. It came across as dismissive of my reservation and my choices rather than helpful. Customer service should be about respectful communication and finding solutions, not making customers feel talked down to. A clear and professional explanation of policy would have been enough.

The young person that checks people in and out lacks any sense of courtesy. She needs to be trained on basic customer service skills if they expect to succeed in your eagle pass location. I have to use enterprise because of my company has corporate account. I travel across the country and the world by far this was worst experience. Otherwise i like other people there. That is just my opinion but I stand by it.
