  Bought our first RV as we have new home construction and needed something at the lake. Started with Blake and new sales associate in Sales helping us find the right RV. He had one transfered in from SC. He was the most honest person we met in all the dealerships we visited. Then the RV showed up and the team went to work. We made some upgrades like another AC and screen over slide and they ordered and installed over 48 hours. They never said No, always pushing to help and get it right. Barbara and her team was on it. Sammatha in Retail and finance folks were also helpful. Thank you so much everyone!

  I personally like this camping world the only reason I’m rating them lower is due to inconvenience. I’ve come into store since we came here and spent a lot of money at this store easily over a grand on the retail side. Called in today because I’m at work and a septic line blew at the campsite while my fiance is there and I won’t be home until near midnight. Usually with most camping worlds this is easy just call in pay for what ya want over the phone and be happy my fiance could come and pick it up. NOT SO FAST! This location WILL NOT accept payment over the phone, which is weird since they have to process payments over the phone for some camper repair bills and down payments for campers. If yall fix this and allow people to do business with yall as they are needing it then I will update the review. I will say I looked at them for buying a camper from them and they don’t truly listen to what you want! They will send you a bunch of stuff that is nothing like what you asked for and will say “you won’t find the perfect camper”. We did it just took some looking around. I highly recommend blue compass (in Dallas) for purchasing an rv but camping world usually has all the accessories in stock.

  I want to be fair in this review because not everything about my experience was negative. The sales team at Camping World Denton did an excellent job. Lake in particular worked hard for us. They located the camper I wanted and arranged to have it moved from Alvarado to Denton for me. The sales process itself was smooth, professional, and deserving of five stars. Unfortunately, everything after the sale was a completely different story. In addition to purchasing the camper, we spent approximately $10,000 on upgrades and additions. My expectation was that those items would be properly installed, tested, and inspected before delivery. Unfortunately, several of those upgrades required additional repairs after we took ownership because they had not been properly checked. The service department had my camper for seven days before delivery. During that time, little to nothing appears to have been accomplished. On the day I was scheduled to pick it up, they were just beginning to address many of the issues. I was supposed to take delivery at noon on Friday, but because the work had not been completed, the entire process became frustrating and unprofessional. We finally pulled out of the lot after 9:30 p.m. Even more disappointing was the lack of quality control. After taking delivery, I discovered multiple issues that should have been caught during any reasonable inspection, including a washer/dryer drain that leaked badly, a cracked shower faucet that leaked, and a leaking toilet. They also attempted to resolve an AC issue, but the repair was unsuccessful. I haven’t tried to use the furnace but the thermostat that controls the furnace doesn’t even work so when winter comes I’ll be spending more money trying to figure out if my furnace works and how to run it. I have repeatedly requested a copy of the inspection report and have never received one. Given the number of obvious problems that were missed, I would genuinely like to know what was inspected before delivery. I also never received a thorough walkthrough of the camper’s systems and operation. As a result, I was left to learn many things on my own while dealing with problems that should have been addressed before I ever left the lot. Since purchasing the camper, I have spent more than $4,600 out of pocket on repairs that should have been identified and corrected before delivery. Between the additional repair costs, the time lost, and the frustration of dealing with issues that should have been caught from the beginning, this has been one of the most disappointing purchasing experiences I have had. Camping World was always quick to take my money, whether for the camper itself or the additional upgrades, but when it came to service, communication, quality control, and follow-through, the experience fell far short of expectations. The sales team earned five stars. The service department earned negative five stars. Based on my experience, I would buy from the sales staff again. I would not trust the service department with another RV, and I will not be returning.

  My toilet broke Memorial Day Weekend, found what I needed online at CW in Denton. Called and talked with Tanya, yes they had 1 in stock and she would pull it for me and put my name on it. I wanted to use a discount code so ordered online but I messed it up. Should have clicked pickup in store but Nope I clicked ship to store. So I drive to Denton and find I’ve messed up order. Since I didn’t place order Right they couldn’t release the toilet she had put back for me However Tanya and Barb went over and above to help me get order fixed so I could pick up in store and go home with a new toilet. Thank you Ladies so much.
