  I went to get my back brake pads and rotors replaced and Cayla gave me a timeline and financial breakdown of all the other issues they noticed so I was well informed of what needed to be done, when, and how much it would cost. This is the type of information and transparency everyone needs!

  At one point along the journey of my recent vacation, I had car trouble. Nothing scares me more! I called my girlfriend who is very mechanically-minded and she and her husband immediately came to assist me. She showed up with duct tape, rope, bungee cords, etc. It turned out the problem was not mechanical with the car's engine or other moving parts, but rather with a loosened splash guard on the undercarriage. She gerririgged it and told me to stop at some oil change or minor car repair place in Denton, which I did. It was called "Brakes Plus" on Sadau Court in Denton. This stop was a GODSEND! The building, shop, the waiting area, and even the parking lot were clean, well-organized, and very professional looking. As a woman traveling alone, the bright and welcoming appearance of this business and its professionally uniformed employees gave me confidence to stop there. I initially inadvertently parked in the wrong place and the senior mechanic, Joe, came out to greet me and direct me to the appropriate parking area on the other side of the building. He was very welcoming and kind, which is exactly what I needed at that moment as my nerves were frazzled from being on a trip by myself, in a city I am unfamiliar with, hundreds of miles from home, and having car trouble. As soon as Joe came out to help me, I breathed a sigh of relief, knowing in my heart that he was going to take care of me and that everything was going to be okay. Not only did they quickly fix the problem so my car could be driven on without problems, but they refused to charge me!!! Can you imagine? The folks there - Joe, the senior mechanic, Kailey, Daniel, and John, the manager - were so sweet, attentive, and comforting to this obviously very distressed little old lady. We talk about "glimmers" - small happy moments in life - but this was a "GLORIOUS GLOW!" Thank you and God bless you all! May the kindness you showed me be returned to you many times over. ❤️

  Came in because lug nut key was NOT going to come loose, we tried a cheater bar, no go. Discount Tire could not get it off so we hit up Brakes Plus. John Bramlett answer the phone, and from there it was smooth sailing. Call about 8:45am, he has us set with a 9:30 appointment, dropped her off and before we got home they had us fix and ready to go. Quick fast and painless!

  I came in for a tire alignment, and John, the store manager, got me in as soon as possible. Daniel helped me as well and provided great customer service. After the alignment, I had a few questions. John took the time to walk me through the results using the display in the showroom and explained what my vehicle may need in the future. I highly recommend this shop for tires and alignments. These guys are top notch. Thank you, John and Daniel!

  John is really good at his job and knows what he’s doing. Daniel who helped out as well was very kind. Overall, the service is decent and they’re very professional. I know it can’t be easy deal, dealing with people that don’t understand car things very much. That being said though, I was just there to get an oil change. I had come at 5 PM The previous day was told they didn’t have time which I said was OK and Daniel was kind enough to set me an 8 o’clock appointment. I came into the building at 7:55 AM With two other people that did not have appointments, and I am now leaving at almost 10 AM with the oil change being finally done. To John’s credit, he did try and make it right by offering me some coupons and giving me a little bit of discount on the transaction, But the transaction was almost double of what I was expecting to pay anyways. I was expecting $90 or so and it was totaling almost 150 Since I needed my wipers replaced and each one cost $20. They’re still worth giving your business, but you just need to understand that it’s going to be expensive and take a lot longer than you think. it’s to be expected, but just a little communication to your customers in the lobby would go really long way, If someone’s there just for an oil change appointment at 8am maybe almost 2 hours later say something to them and not have them ask what’s happening. not everyone is an expert on the same things you are so we don’t understand everything going on in the shop.
