    I went to AutoZone earlier and had my battery tested by an associate. The test showed that the battery was good, so I reinstalled it in my car and drove back to have my alternator checked. When I returned, I spoke with the parts manager. He tested the battery again and told me it was bad, and because of that he said he couldn't test the alternator. That didn't seem right to me, so I decided to get a second opinion. I took my vehicle to O'Reilly Auto Parts in Bastrop, where they tested the alternator and confirmed that it was bad. I also asked them to test the battery, and they told me the battery was good. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this AutoZone location. I don't know if the parts manager was mistaken or simply trying to make a sale, but giving conflicting information and refusing to properly diagnose the issue is not the right way to treat customers.

    Please don’t waste your time at this store, equipment doesn’t work scan tool, inventory is not correct when sold item online pickup. Worst experience from an autozone

    I had to visit this location in between my work hours on 5/22 because my car battery died and had it replaced. The guy did a good job replacing my battery but told me my alternator was bad. I took it to a trusted mechanic shop and he told me everything was fine with my car. Please get another opinion even after Autozone tells you something is wrong or bad after running a diagnostic test. Sometimes I feel they will tell you something is bad to upsell you when don’t have knowledge about vehicles. I won’t be going back to this location because of this dishonesty.
