Wanted to recognize Justin Rayne for his exceptional customer service and embodying what it means to be a Sewell team member. He Epitomizes the kind of Sewell guy that advocates for lifelong Sewell customer battling the notorious State Farm juggernaut who tries anything and everything to skimp out and use aftermarket parts. Understanding the importance of customer attention and taking care of members of the sewer family. Justin has gone above and beyond ensuring that a Sewell CPO vehicle is repaired at OEM specifications and levels. Granted my vehicle will never be the same as the result of an incident that was not my fault and I will still have to take the devastating depreciated value of my vehicle, but at least it has been minimized as much as possible due to Justin‘s intervention and advocacy. If you want us to Vehicle and have the unfortunate circumstance of meeting at repaired, you must use the school collision standard to ensure that you’re getting top-notch customer service and only the best for your vehicle. Definitely ask for Justin because he’s the kind of guy you want on your side. Thank you, Justin for your patience and doing what it takes to meet expectations.

It has now been over a month since I picked up my vehicle, and no one from Sewell Body Shop has called me back or followed up after I reported problems the same day I took delivery.
This experience felt completely different from the normal Sewell service side. Before pickup, I had already raised concerns about the tires. When I got there, I got down and checked them myself and quickly found visible peeling/chunking, took pictures, and sent them to the adjuster immediately. That should have been caught and documented by the shop, not by me in the parking lot after I had already warned them.
I also almost left with other obvious issues still unaddressed. The exhaust tips were not even, with one side sticking out more than the other. The lower trim below the trunk had scuffing/paint transfer. There was paint/overspray residue inside the trunk area. I was basically catching issue after issue myself. What made it worse was that almost every concern came with an excuse instead of a real solution.
I ended up going back in, speaking to the receptionist, and getting a manager involved because I was not comfortable leaving with the car in that condition. Dale stood there while I explained everything directly, including that I had warned him beforehand, and I still did not feel like my concerns were being taken seriously.
I was also not clearly warned ahead of time that I would owe money out of pocket at pickup. That should have been explained before the job was closed out, not at the counter.
The most frustrating part is that I reported all of this immediately, involved management in person, and now it has been over a month with no callback, no update, and no follow-through.

Malachi was absolutely incredible to work with throughout the entire process. His communication was unreal from start to finish. Always kept me updated, answering questions quickly, and making sure nothing got lost in the cracks. He was consistently ahead of schedule, and made what started as a stressful experience feel smooth and easy. Aside from being a great person to work with, he’s genuinely a great human being. My car was hailed on and needed tons of news parts including a new roof and doors. They put used parts on the car and told me they were new. There’s a door they put on that doesn’t even align properly with the rest of the car. The roof has blemishes on it if you look really closely. They weren’t honest with me. Looking back on the way they were acting when they presented the car to me let me know that they knew what they were doing. I trusted them and didn’t feel the need to examine the car closely. I got burned.
