- CCCynthiaAug 17, 20265.0Review for Brakes Plus, 17180 Preston Rd. Dallas. I frequented here 10+ years ago. Moved from Dallas and returned 3 years ago. I have a good history here. Saturday, August 8, BP exceeded expectations. Before this visit I went to 4 places for my engine light. 1st - Auto Zone gave me a printout, but no solution. 2nd - Arapaho Automotive serviced my car before, but refused to look at it. 3rd - a transmission shop that was closed. 4th - shop was busy and said I could leave my car for them to look at on Monday. Finally went to BP and they provided service. Chris, store manager, had a technician run a diagnostic and offered a simple solution that he stated might fix the problem, but if not to return and they would look for other solutions. I was not charged and my engine light has not come back on. Thank you BP for your auto knowledge and not suggesting an expensive fix, which is something one of the other places did with bad results in the past. I highly recommend BP.
