  "Had an excellent experience here! I brought my car in for a maintenance visit, including new tires, brake service, and an oil change. The technicians were incredibly professional and walked me through the entire process. They didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services, which I highly appreciated. The car drives beautifully now, the brakes are quiet, and the turn-around time was very fast. I will definitely be making this my go-to shop for routine maintenance!"

  I brought my vehicle to Mavis for a wheel alignment and walked to HEB. At 4:46 PM, I received a call from the shop recommending additional services, specifically a brake fluid flush and an air filter replacement. I declined both recommendations and instructed the staff to proceed only with the wheel alignment. At the end of that phone call, I was told, “We’re pulling your car in now.” By that time, I was already walking back to the shop. It took me approximately 15 minutes to return. When I arrived, my vehicle was already parked outside. As soon as I walked in, my keys were handed to me and I was told that the wheel alignment had been completed. I then asked for a copy of the alignment report. Jerry informed me that the printer was out of ink. I asked if the alignment results could simply be displayed on the screen so I could take a picture with my phone. Jerry responded that they could not do that either. Instead, he suggested that I return the following day, at which point they could put my vehicle back on the lift and provide the alignment results. Since I was already at the shop, I asked why this could not be done immediately. I was then told that the technician who performs wheel alignments had already left because his shift ended at 5:00 PM. The timeline and explanations I received raise serious concerns. I was told at 4:46 PM that my vehicle was only then being pulled into the alignment bay, yet approximately 15 minutes later the vehicle was parked outside and I was told the alignment was complete. When I requested documentation of the work, I was unable to obtain either a printed report or a digital display of the results. Being told that I would need to return another day and have the vehicle put back on the lift to obtain alignment results only added to my concerns.

  I had a really good experience getting my oil change at Mavis Tire. The staff was professional, friendly, and got me in and out faster than I expected. They explained everything clearly, didn’t pressure me into unnecessary extras, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. It’s hard to find places that make routine car maintenance feel easy, but this team did exactly that. I’ll definitely be coming back for future service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for honest service and a hassle-free oil change experience.
