This is not our first GMC—it is our 3rd—and we drive a premium Sierra AT4 with a corporate extended service plan. I know what "Professional Grade" luxury customer care looks like because our previous dealerships excelled at it. Wiesner Buick GMC, however, gives the entire brand a bad name.
My truck was in their shop for weeks, and securing a loaner was an absolute battle. When they finally gave me one, they failed to stock adequate truck inventory and crammed my large, active family into a small Terrain first, then a slightly larger Acadia that didn't fit our lifestyle or sports gear. Worse yet, that Acadia burns through more gas than any vehicle I have ever driven in my life—just a massive waste of my money on fuel due to their poor inventory.
This service department relies on sneaky, pushy, and predatory tactics once you hand the keys back. First, they tried to falsely claim I damaged the vehicle—a total lie regarding pre-existing wear they failed to document because they skipped the initial walk-through. When we shut that down, they pivoted to a different cash grab, texting me that they were charging an unauthorized $199.95+tax detailing fee because the vehicle was "dirty."
The hypocrisy is unreal. I have literally paid this exact dealership to detail my actual truck when it was extremely dirty in the past, and they only charged me $100. Now they want $200 for a courtesy vehicle I shouldn't even be charged to clean in the first place? They forced a large family with several car seats into an undersized vehicle for weeks. One car seat couldn’t even go into the car. Kids leave crumbs; that is normal wear and tear, not an excuse for a $200 penalty.
An active family using a courtesy vehicle normally is not a rule violation. Fortunately, I froze my card before they could process the charge. When I demanded photographic proof and the signed agreement highlighting the specific rule broken, they provided nothing because their word is completely worthless.
If you expect a luxury dealership experience, avoid Wiesner GMC. They operate like a shady, third-rate used car lot. I will be taking my business elsewhere and escalating this straight to GM Corporate.
