  Do not let these people change your oil. We recently moved to Dallas and were trying to get our first oil change here. The mechanic discovered Valvoline tightened the drain plug so tight over some months that the shape smoothed out into a circle and our current mechanic can't get a grip on the bolt to take it off because they also tightened it unreasonably tight. They're lucky we discovered this while we're in another city otherwise we'd be making them pay for the oil pan replacement.

  I went to the service center and asked them to confirm the oil spec for my VW Atlas, and they said it was 0W-20. But when they were refilling it, I saw they were using 0W-40. That might be okay for some Asian cars, like my Lexus if it needed 0W-20, but for a German VW, using something other than the specified 0W-20 could mess up the warranty and hurt fuel efficiency and engine life. When I pointed it out, they quickly checked, drained the wrong oil, and refilled it. This time, I noticed they used a hose instead of individual oil containers. After I left, I stayed in the parking lot to let the engine run and check the new oil level, which seemed fine. Still, this whole thing made me lose trust in their service, so I'm going to a VW dealership for a full oil change. Plus, I'm not sure if they even replaced the oil filter since I didn't see the packaging. I don't know if I'll ever trust this place again, but I do appreciate that the workers were quick to check and apologize. But I have no way to confirm the work.

  After sitting in line for 15 minutes a pickup pulled in on my right, a car pulled in on my left. Sat for a few minutes longer and I was asked to back up to make room for another car behind me. The pickup up was pulled in then a moment later the car was directed in. I left after that. Poor customer service and the redhead was rude - no please or thank you. I will never go back there again. I immediately went to Valvoline in The Woodlands. Polite, courteous and friendly. Took care of my car. Thank you, The Woodlands Valvoline on Kuykendahl!!!

  I went to this Valvoline on 336 in Conroe, TX yesterday and the customer service was fantastic!! Alaandra the Manager greeted me and was so friendly. Aaron was also my technician and he was so lovely. He was so warm and friendly and very very helpful. I went there about 20 minutes before closing and Aaron and Alaandra were so fast and so absolutely wonderful!! It’s sweltering hot here at all times and the fact these people are so friendly and welcoming is especially impressive. There was also another technician named Matthew working on the car in the next bay and he was very friendly too. I appreciate this Valvoline location hiring such wonderful employees and I’ll be a loyal customer as well as tell my friends!! Thank you Aaron and Alaandra!!

  Nice. Polite. Knowledgeable. - Understaffed. No sense of urgency. With kids in the car- took nearly and hour and a half for and oil change and transmission fluid change. Arrived early morning. Corporate needs to allow for more hours and more people. Other than an oil change, unfortunately I will be taking my cars to the dealership. To be in the AC with kids is worth the premium charge.
