  I went to the AutoZone on William D. Fitch to purchase a battery for my pickup truck. The lady behind the counter, Amber, completed the paperwork and asked if I needed help replacing the old battery with the new one. I recently had brain surgery so my upper body strength is not good. Together we removed/replaced the truck battery. Amber demonstrated the utmost in customer service like I haven’t seen in a while. I will now use ONLY AutoZone for any services they offer. Thank you Amber!

  Absolutely the most positive and helpful experience that anyone can have. Kirsten assisted me with a battery replacement, and purchase for my vehicle as well as some ancillary purchases. She offered suggestions on the purchase that enabled the warranty period to start anew as well as maximizing the refund on the old battery which had been purchased 18 months earlier. In addition she helped with the return of a battery purchased less than 6 months ago for my son’s car without hesitancy. Kirsten exemplified the mantra of ‘put the customer first’ and as a result displayed the kindness, respect and attention to detail that all individuals should receive.

  I visited AutoZone today at 7 pm as I write this it’s 7:45 pm, and was extremely disappointed with the customer service. When I walked in, the store appeared to be clearly short-staffed. There was only one employee actively helping a customer with car issues, while the manager, Tammy Lynn Tyler, was standing at the front register engaged in what appeared to be a lengthy personal conversation with another customer. She could clearly see me and at least two other customers waiting to be helped. I was already ready to check out with everything I needed and simply needed someone to ring up my purchase. Instead, I stood in line for over 20 minutes while the conversation continued. I completely understand that building relationships with customers is important, but when multiple people are waiting for service and the store is short-staffed, the priority should be assisting those who are waiting. A manager should be leading by example, especially during busy times. This experience was frustrating and left a very poor impression.

  Try to return an item store attendant gave me that was wrong. Was told couldn’t do it without reciept but everything is stored in the computer showing when it was bought. Even have option for no reciept since it is all stored in computer under your phone number. Stupid

  I bought the part I needed. The people there were very nice and very helpful. Not alot of customers but I think it was because it is new on that strip. Needs advertising?
