  We had to wait (the day we rented it) nearly a half hour to even get help. Please try and get more than one employee working.

  I called the location multiple times hours before arrival to make sure the rental would be ready on my arrival. No one answered any of the calls. Once I made it to the location I discovered why my calls weren’t answered. There wasn’t an associate in the area and the lights were off. Two males were at the Enterprise and Avis area only. The Enterprise section had a sign saying “no car available “ which made me very concerned because the place where I reserved my rental was closed which would have left me and my family stranded in a unfamiliar place. I stood at the Enterprise area waiting for the males to finish their conversation but became frustrated while waiting. I asked the security guard next to the Enterprise if Alamo was in operation. He was very polite got up to go over to the Enterprise side which was adjacent to his office. He explained that the Enterprise section was the place where I needed to go which upset me because I was standing at the Enterprise counter waiting for him to finish his conversation to get help but he ignored me. He overheard the security guard and told me that he could help me. I asked was he an intern because the university is was so close to the location but he confirmed that he was an employee. It made me wonder how someone could be so unaware as a professional. He was polite after assisting me and my transition was fast. However he gave me the keys and said told me to look for the car outside in the parking lot. He also explained that if it had damages let him know. I was confused because I would have assumed that would be something he should have known. From my experience an associate would be with me to at least find the car and do a walk around with me. After finding the car I noticed that it was dirty on the outside and was even dirtier on the inside. I used the Clorox wipe to clean the interior which gave me a piece of mind. I’m allergic to pet fur so I began sneezing because it was everywhere in the vehicle. I had no choice but to keep the car because I had no other way home. During the drive I almost had an accident twice because the cruse control plus button to accelerate) was stuck and made the car accelerate to above 95 mph before I hit brakes. I was a very uncomfortable experience. My experience was horrible and in the future if I can avoid Alamo I will at all cost.

  Counter staff were polite but not efficient. We were short on time and were given a car that smelled like a wet dog had been locked inside for several days. The car did not get better even after driving with the windows down for several days. I advised the staff when I returned it but they made no apology, effort, or offer of discount when asked. They just gave me the business card of a "manager" who I emailed and got no response. My kid is starting at A&M and I will be choosing a different service, even if it costs more, over the next four years.
