My little brother bought a dodge challenger a month ago. Drove off the lot and started having problems right off the back. Took the car back. Got it serviced and “fixed”. Drive the car again and it started leaking fuel from the lines. Took it back. Got it back and got stranded in El Paso tx. Dealership took the car and started doing repairs and services again and while they were testing and getting done with the car, the alternator caught on fire and damaged the wire harness on it. So it’s in the dealership again getting fixed but my brother already wanted to go and get a different vehicle but the dealership is giving him the run around and not giving him a reliable vehicle. The car already had problems and they sold it to my brother that way. Right now my brother is trying to get another car but the dealership is giving him problems. Wouldn’t recommend this kind of dealership to go to.

This review is in regards to the service dept, sales is great! service absolutely sucks!!
Bought a brand new vehicle 2 weeks ago, need to get a issue looked at call service, the guy I spoke with says they are 2-3 days out and asks when I can come in well its Tuesday how's Friday?
He says cool bring the car by whenever and you'll need to leave it for 2 or 3 days before we can look at it and we will get to it never asks my name or for any info so I ask about a appointment I'm told we just work them in as we go 🤷♂️🤦♂️🙄
What kind of dealership refuses to set a customer appointment and instead wants to inconvenience the customer with "give us your vehicle for 3 day just so we can look at it"??????
Not everyone has the option to just hand over their vehicle for 3 days so it can just sit at a dealership.
Guess I'll schedule my service with Star Dodge in Abilene which by the way can be done online because you know it's 2026 and not 1985 anymore 🤷♂️
Schedule a appointment with your customers instead it would be so much easier for everyone 🙄
Really disappointed in the "service after the sell"

Mitchell helped me get into a new vehicle after the heat finally killed my old one. He and James made the process super easy and worked on my schedule which I was very grateful for. Overall, the best car buying experience I've had

I had a very disappointing experience with the service department at Blake Fulenwider Dodge and will not be returning.
I brought my truck in for a routine oil change and fuel filter replacement. During the visit, I was advised to replace the CCV filter. I was quoted $305 for the part and told the dealership was only making $10 on it, with a supposed OEM cost of $295. After checking, the same Mopar part is readily available for around $205, and aftermarket options are under $100. I have no issue with a business making a profit, but I do have a problem with being misled about pricing.
Additionally, I dropped my truck off with 75,285 miles and received it back with 20 extra miles on the odometer. That seems excessive for what should have been a straightforward service.
Communication was also poor. I was told I would receive a call when my vehicle was ready, but no call ever came. When I followed up myself, the dealership was already closed. This left me without my vehicle longer than promised.
To make matters worse, I was assured the work would be completed the same day. The actual work performed should have taken around 2 hours, yet I was charged $750 in labor and still did not get my truck back as promised. This is now the second time this dealership has failed to meet their timeline, leaving me without transportation.
Based on repeated poor communication, questionable pricing transparency, and unmet expectations, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I would not recommend this service department. Poor Service and high prices!
