  If I could leave zero stars I would! I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so others don’t end up spending thousands of dollars unnecessarily. I took my vehicle in because my A/C wasn’t working properly. After their inspection - which I paid $400 for, I was told I needed to replace virtually the entire A/C system, including the compressor and multiple other components. The estimate was several thousand dollars. Something didn’t sit right with me, so I decided to get a second opinion. I’m glad I did. The second shop found that the diagnosis was incorrect. My vehicle did not need everything the first shop claimed, and the repair ended up costing a small fraction of what I was originally quoted. Whether this was due to poor diagnostics or an attempt to upsell expensive repairs, the outcome is the same: I was given an inaccurate diagnosis and an extremely inflated estimate. Had I trusted their recommendation, I would have wasted thousands of dollars replacing parts that didn’t need to be replaced. Customers trust repair shops to diagnose problems honestly and accurately. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience here. I strongly encourage anyone who receives a major repair estimate from this shop to get a second opinion before authorizing any work. It could save you a significant amount of money. I have had multiple repairs done here AND I never had issues with this shop under the previous owners, who were fair and honest people.

  My car's AC unit blew up. I took it to Akins for repair. Not only did they do an excellent job repairing it but they constantly argued with my warranty company to get them to pay for it. $3200 later I only paid $400 out of pocket which was a huge relief for me. Their customer service reps are excellent and shout out to Alex and the reps for all that they did. Thank you to the mechanics as well. I will be using this repair shop again!

  Mechanic was very upfront told me about all repairs. Customer service was great and communication from customer service in the vehicle was great. I would recommend this auto repair company to any one in the area who needs auto repairs done

  Super amazing people!! 100% recommend they helped us out so much. They customer service is just the best an they help u save an help u find payment plans when your having a hard time. 100% going back.

  I needed to get back on the road fast and they were able to get that done for me. I was so happy I was in and out in just a few minutes with a new battery. Sometimes there's things more important than saving a few dollars and that's what I was looking for. And they understood and obliged.
