  Walked in yesterday for replacing a battery. Not the happiest experience. In short, avoid Kayla's service if possible. Wanna gossip? Sit down and scroll down. Met by Craig. He is very efficient. Followed me to my car in the parking lot with a device to analyze the battery immediately. 'It's dead'. Found the replacement, and suggested to put a $4 little pads to help preventing erosion. Yes and yes. About to make payment. Another sales lady Kayla showed up. My guess is she wanted to have this transaction under her name for whatever reason. Craig was gentleman enough to step aside. While Kayla was keying in the cashier, I asked if they would help install the battery, as that was the reason I went to AutoZone but not dozens other shops. She said they could but it's better I installed it myself. I checked ChatGPT on the spot and ChatGPT told me that free installation is on AutoZone's Ad. I insisted. Obviously she agreed a bit reluctantly. Later on I found she moved a cart to pick up tools. I realized she would be the one to install but not any other male technician. I offered and moved the new battery on to the cart and walked to my car. Kayla was obviously not familiar with battery replacement from the first few movements. So I again offered help to move dead battery to the cart, move new battery on my car, trying to help fixing the new battery into the compartment. She helped to tighten few screws and back and forth matching the right size tools. After installation, I found the $4 pad was not installed. I went in the shop to return it. Kayla's first reaction was tearing the package, trying to make it look like it's been used, and suggested me to apply the pad to the battery myself. The tearing package act was disgusting. So I made up my mind to return it, when she turned the face accusing me it was me not let her install the battery, that's the reason this pad was not installed. Won't bother to argue with her when she's murmuring 'I did nothing wrong', worked with the shop manager and finished the return and leaved. Kayla even mentioned the installation service was her courtesy, not a standard free service for granted. Sharing a not so pleasant experience to let you know to avoid getting Kayla's help if possible.

  Just left the store. 2 males and 1 female working. Male outside smoking greeting me as I walk in. While looking for what I need, I had to work to counter while 2 on the phone. Last customer leave and all 3 looking for part via phone and ask if I need help as I’m leaving. I’ll go somewhere else 🤡 O’Reilly just a block up was way more helpful!!

  I needed a battery replaced in my jeep. I stopped by the store after work and Chris assisted me right away! He was able to let me know the problem, and which of the two batteries needed replacement. After purchase with no hesitation, he grabbed tools and went to my jeep to replace my battery for me! He did it quickly! What could have been a stressful situation, he turned into a positive one with his great customer service skills and knowledge. Thank you so much Chris! Y'all got a customer for life, from me!
