  My experience with this location was very disappointing. After my insurance notified me that they set up a reservation for me with Enterprise. I called and asked if they had any economy or mid-size cars available for the next day. The response was yes we do, after pulling up my information, I reserved a mid-size for the following day. After speaking with my wife we decided to see if we could pick it up that day instead. The response was yes, we have some in. We showed up a 1 hour later. We were greeted with, "someone will be right with you". After a 15 minute wait and another 10 minutes of answering multiple questions. The lady leaves through a door behind the counter. When she comes back she has the keys to a damn minivan......wth?! I could only laugh and ask are you freaking serious. She was and I said no thank you, as I was turning to walk out. She said I will call you when we get some more vehicles in. I called my insurance company and had the reservation moved to the San Marcos location and drove there and got a rental the same day. The feeling I got from the Bastrop location was they really didn't care about what needed but what they wanted, to put me in whatever they had available. The interaction with this location was enough to keep me away moving forward. NO, I would not recommend.

  Tried to charge me $289 to rent a car Saturday night, and drop it off at the airport Sunday morning (less than 8 hours). I just did not want to have to rely on an early morning Uber. But you guys take all the convenience out of renting and just go wild with the fees.

  Great place. I’ve rented 3+ vehicles here and the staff is consistently great to work with. They’ve even picked me up and dropped me off when needed. Always polite, kind, thoughtful, easy to work with, and professional. <update: 04/19/2026> Almost three weeks ago, I requested to swap my rental for a specific vehicle and was told it was possible. After multiple follow-ups and phone calls, there was no clear timeline or confirmation. “Once it is available” effectively meant no follow-through or defined timeframe. Communication was inconsistent, and I had to repeatedly chase updates without getting a clear answer. If something isn’t realistically available, that should be communicated clearly upfront instead of leaving customers waiting indefinitely. <update: 04/20/2026> The team reached out and got me swapped into the requested vehicle. I appreciate them following through and resolving it.
