Just bought a new car. So far, the service has been incredible. Sales Manager came to my house the next day and spent 90 minutes explaining all the buttons to me. I look forward to oil changes only being once per year.

I brought a new to me Jaguar F Type to Sewel for a small repair item and there were many great aspects of my service. The greeters when I arrived were extremely friendly, they even took care of my Uber ride home. The repair they did for me was done within a day and they even washed my car for me. I had a small frustration about one thing and I expressed my frustration with their manager, Kris Liska. He was extremely quick to reach back out to me and remedied my issue. I greatly appreciate that Sewell stands behind their name and reputation, and wants to ensure they take great care of their customers. Thank you Kris and the Sewell Team.

Service Department: I felt embarrassed, disappointed and confused!!! I heard all these commercials talk about how different the experience is at Sewell, so I decided to stop by and make an appointment for service on my 2015 LR4 and also make arrangements for a loaner car. My LR4 looks and runs like new with only 20k miles, so I was very proud of it and loved it more than my other newer vehicles. In short, I was told that my Land Rover was too old to be able to get a loaner!!! It wasn’t so much what they told me about their policy of “no loaners if you own an older Land Rover”, but how they said ii, as if I was a second class customer. In short, I ended up taking my LR4 to “Teddy’s Motorsports” where they worked on it for a few days and the bill came out to roughly $12k… oh, and yes, I was given another extremely nice Range Rover loaner without even asking. They never made me feel like a lesser type of a customer as “Sewell Land Rover” did. What a shame, Sewell’s service department could have collected that $12k that I happily handed over to Teddy’s Motorsports for making me feel as important as their other customers with Lamborghinis and Rolls Royces. My advice to all, DON’T take your older Land Rover to Sewelll… you’ll be gravely disappointed at their treatment.

Carter Scott went above and beyond to help my wife when she got a flat tire, and I can’t thank him enough. What could have been a huge inconvenience for both of us turned into one of the best customer service experiences we’ve ever had—especially from a car dealership.
Carter treated my wife with genuine care, professionalism, and urgency, making a stressful situation incredibly easy. His actions reflected the level of service and commitment that Sewell is known for, and it’s clear he truly lives out the company’s values every day.
This may have been just one small interaction, but I’m sure it’s one of many examples of Carter’s dedication to taking care of customers. I sincerely hope he receives the recognition he deserves because employees like him are the reason people keep coming back.

Unfortunately, I did not have a great purchase experience at Sewell LandRover North Austin. It started great - then after purchase (the same week) the check engine light came on and the RR had to go into the service dept for 2.5 days. Once I got it back and had it for around 3 days the check engine light retuned and had to go back to the service dept for a week. That means after purchase I drove a loaner car more than the $100k RR I purchased. I will say that the service dept and the process there was smooth and the manager Fabian that helped me was very kind, understanding and patient. I appreciated how he treated me and am grateful for him during this frustrating process. The salesperson Chase that helped me during the purchase -once the transaction was completed turned into a ghost. He clearly only wanted my money and didn’t feel any obligation to help me further. It was definitely not the customer service experience Sewell tries to sell you. I even reached out to him and expressed my concerns and disappointment and point blank told him how unhappy I was and that I felt taken advantage of and he never responded. The service manager Fabian is the only one who has even tried to help me. I would recommend doing extreme due diligence when buying from Sewell LandRover because the vehicles they present are not in the condition they claim, so buyer beware and take caution when purchasing. Also, manage your expectations when purchasing from their salespeople because once you hand over your money at least the person I worked with (Chase) he will no longer respond to you or feel obligated to help you in any way. Even if the RR he sold you the same week is in the service dept not once but TWICE!! Thank goodness for the warranty otherwise this review would be far worse.
