This is the worst business I have ever had to deal with. They have repaired my windows a few times and done great but the second there’s an issue they suck. They broke my window, it won’t roll back up. This should be under warranty, the regulator broke. They have “forgotten” to order the part THREE times. I can’t even get a hold of anyone and have to keep wasting my time by going into the store. It has been two months and I just want my window fixed. I’m sick of driving around with a half open window and plastic over it!!!

The windshield replacement went fine. The tech broke my antenna during the process. He reported it. But his manager never called me for details on replacing it. No email, no call , nothing. I called a week later and the assured me they would expedite the claim. Week to came and I called again and they said they put the order in that day two weeks later. Now we are on week three. No call, no email. they do great work on windshield replacement and taking your cash but ghost you when they break something. So much for that if we break it we fix it warranty.

I had my new car 3 weeks before a rock took out half my windshield. They were able to get my car fixed the day after I called. I had called another company first and they told me it would be at least 2 weeks. The front desk associate was awesome- kind, funny, honest. She told me my car might take a little longer because of the recalibration needed but she would do her best to make sure I got it in the time I needed and it all came through!! Super happy with Safelite.

I definitely thought the service was great. The young man his name was Nathaniel was very courteous and very nice spoken. I did everything to make him comfortable under the carport. He fixed my glass in a little bit over an hour. It was great experience and I would refer safelite to all my friends. DEFINITELY!!!

Terrible communication and workmanship. Safelite will use their brand recognition to overcharge you and they will never follow up on the Lifetime Warranty that they boast of. I paid for a ventilation window replacement in January of 2025. Setting up a new appointment was easy and convenient, and my appointment was booked two weeks in advance. I received an automated email confirming the booking, and no other contact prior to the day of the appointment. On the day of the appointment, and hour after the scheduled start time, I received a call from a technician, informing me that they did not have the car window I needed in stock. The technician said that they *might* receive the window that day and that they would update me if they did. I received a call eight hours later on the same day, letting me know that they just received the window and would come out to perform the repair. The technician was polite and sociable. He gave me a brief explanation of how long the service would take and the steps he'd be taking. I returned to my home, and came back out once he had finished. While fixing my tiny ventilation window, the technician managed to damage my rear driver's side car window to the point that it could no longer be raised or lowered, and the technician left the window in its lowered position with some shrink wrap as consolation. He assured me that Safelite would reach out in the next couple of days to fix the problem, and that everything was covered under their warranty. After two months of calling Safelite every week, I finally managed to get in contact and schedule a repair for the window that they'd broken. After a third month of waiting, a technician came out simply to figure out what the first technician broke, did not fix anything, told me that they had put in an order for the part they needed, and that they would reach out to me when it arrived. To their credit, they did manually raise the window, so rain would finally stop damaging the backseat of my car. Another few months passed by with zero contact from Safelite. On their website, you cannot book a warranty appointment without calling their shop. When you call their shop and select 'Book a Warranty Appointment', it directs you to their website then ends the call. When I FINALLY did get ahold of someone, they informed me that the part was never ordered, and requested me to drive all the way down to their shop in South Austin for them to check what's wrong with the window *again*. With no other options, I did. They told me the wait time was estimated at fifteen minutes. I waited for two hours before a representative spoke to me. This third technician was able to confirm that the second technician was incorrect, and that a DIFFERENT part needed to be ordered. They told me they'd order it and that they'd reach out once it arrived. Within two weeks, Safelite dutifully reached out to me to inform me that the part had arrived, and that they'd send a technician out to finally repair the window they had broken nine months ago. The technician was very friendly, arrived on time, and discovered that technician #3 was wrong, technician #2 was right, and that they'd ordered the wrong part and couldn't help me. Over one year after the initial appointment when Safelite broke my rear driver's side window, I was finally reached out to again. Their new manager gave me a call to apologize for all of the confusion, and to let me know that it was a result of a management change that left their shop in a mess. He personally apologized to me for the poor service, and he told me that he would personally order the part and reach out once it arrives. It's been more than a month since then. Fifteen months have passed by since Safelite broke my window. The back seat of my car still gets soaked when it rains. Safelite may repair, but they most assuredly do not replace.
