  Ryan and his crew are top notch. If you want a true Texas business owner to take as much care in your issue as you do, North Star is the spot. They ran a diagnostic on a Tuesday and they had a new part and my vehicle was in tip top on Thursday. They didn’t hold my vehicle - I came back. With excellent and hands on service plus the fast turn around, I’ll be a loyal customer going forward. Highly recommended!

  This shop deserves every bit of a 5-star review. The new ownership has completely transformed the place. From the moment I walked in, I could tell they actually care about their customers. The office was spotless, modern, comfortable, and somehow even smelled amazing — which is definitely not something you usually say about an auto repair shop! Most importantly, they fixed my car quickly and the service was outstanding. They were professional, honest, and kept me updated the whole time. No pressure, no games, just great customer service and quality work. It’s honestly refreshing to find a repair shop that makes you feel confident leaving your vehicle there. If you’re looking for a trustworthy place with fast turnaround and people who genuinely care, this is the shop to go to. The new owners are doing an incredible job, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

  I recently brought my Subaru Outback in because the driver-side window stopped working. Since I’m preparing for a long road trip to several national parks, I also asked them to do a full multipoint inspection of the vehicle. They quickly diagnosed the issue and found that the window actuator motor had failed. During the inspection they also noticed a small oil leak from the engine gasket and recommended replacing it before my trip to avoid future problems. Everything was explained clearly and honestly, with no pressure. The repairs were completed within just a couple of days. After the work was done, they noticed the replacement window motor was not a perfect match because the window was moving slower than expected. Ryan had already reordered a new fully suitable motor and told me they would replace it for free once it arrives, even though the new part is more expensive. That level of customer care really impressed me. Ryan was super friendly throughout the entire process, and the atmosphere at the shop was genuinely welcoming. They even have a coffee bar and two affectionate office cats greeting customers, which made the experience unexpectedly enjoyable. It’s rare to find an automotive shop that is both professional and truly cares about doing the job right. Highly recommended.

  Ryan Hawkins was absolutely amazing. He got me scheduled right away and gave me exactly what I needed. He did not try to up sale me on anything at all. He gave me an extremely good price to replace my rotors and breaks, and got it done quickly. It is very refreshing to get this kind of service for auto repairs! I certainly will be coming back for all my car maintenance and repairs.

  ​Ryan and his team did a great job on my Nissan Versa Note. I was experiencing a brake drag problem but also wanted to know if there was something else that may not be working well, I really appreciate his transparency and how he explained what was needed and what was not. I found his pricing pretty fair and he got our car ready very fast. Best customer service I’ve experienced in automotive repair industry in years. Highly recommend!"
