  I went to Mavis last week due to a slow leak in a tire. Fantastic service. Very professional and extremely friendly which unfortunately are two qualities that are harder to come by these days when it comes to anything customer service related. They fixed the tire and also performed a complimentary check on my brakes, battery and fluids as well, which I appreciated. And, since I was a first-time customer, they did not charge me a dime for the tire repair! That's how you create a return customer, which I will surely be!! Cannot recommend Mavis enough!!!

  I had an appointment with the Mavis Tire on Highway 290 in South Austin, for 10:00am, for a slow leaking tire from a purchase earlier this year. When I arrived, I was told that it would be 1.5 hours before they could get to me. Apologies given, and I set a second appointment for 12:30. When I arrived at my second appointment, it appeared that they would finish my car quickly, as there wasn’t hardly any one waiting. My car was immediately pulled into the bay, but after 45 minutes I went to see where it was in the process. They had not even begun to service my car yet. I had another appointment so I just had to leave after thinking that surely they would get the job done in a reasonable time at my second appointment. This time no acknowledgement that they had failed again. So, two appointments in one day and I still haven’t gotten my tire repaired. Avoid if your time is important to you!

  RUSSELL MY MAN. This guy actually saved my life. My car actually basically exploded. Not really, but it was cooked, like completely gone. I thought I was just going to have to grow wings and start flying to work, but Russ said HELL NAH. Bro was like Kevin Gates when he touched the car battery with his bare hands. Nobody believed him, but he put it on his kids, so you have to believe him. Russ went to work and got ish done that ChatGPT said would take the most advanced mechanic in the world to get done, and then hit me with this emoji stack: “✌🏼😭🎶,” basically solidifying that it was over for me. Come get your work done by Russell. He won’t disappoint. If he can’t fix it your only other option is to put a brick on the gas peddle and watch it fly off the cliff.

  Russell at this location went completely above and beyond. He stayed late to work on my car, and when they weren’t able to finish the job, he didn’t charge me a single dollar. On top of that, he took the time to walk me through a clear plan to get my car fixed at the lowest possible cost — putting my best interest ahead of the sale. That kind of honesty and dedication is rare. Russell is the reason I’ll be coming back to Mavis. If you’re looking for someone you can actually trust with your vehicle, ask for Russell. Couldn’t recommend him more highly!

  Went here today already knowing I needed 3, if not 4 new tires. Was prepared to struggle with groceries this week bc as a teacher this is most definitely not in the budget! However, Russell was wonderful and did everything he could to ensure I walked away paying a fair price. He also assured me the 4th tire wasn’t necessary bc my old one was in great shape. As a woman, he could have easily taken advantage of me and told me all 4 were necessary (easy sale tbh) but instead made sure I was taken care of and made me feel confident I was paying a good amount. After confirming with my boyfriend (who was very impressed I navigated this on my own) I was sure I had made a good decision trusting them with my car (2021 4Runner). Plan on coming back to have my brakes replaced bc I truly trust Russell and his team and he made sure I’d be able to manage paying for this service as well. Can’t say enough good things, def come here for all your car maintenance!
